Read my card?
Hay there friends. Well, I will tell you about poor Bunches in a mo Jo, but first my parcels. OMG?

OK, two weeks ago, we sent for a card reader. So we can do safe internet banking. The card reader does what it says on the tin. Like what you place your cash card into in shops. It was to take five days.  It took two weeks. We were all excited to use this technology, found out, it was not accessible. I phoned them asked them what can we do? They said, we could apply for a speaking card reader. Oh, we did, getting told  by the nice man on the phone, it would take five working days to come.

Ten days later, not card reader. I phoned them up again. The lady said

“Oh, you can only apply for audio card readers if you go into the bank?

I then said,

“So let me get this right, if you can see, and can get to the bank with ease, you can get the reader over the net or phone, if you can’t see and have trouble getting into the bank, you need to go into the branch, and order one that way?

“Yes!” Was her answer. I then asked,

“Why was I not told this, why did a member of your staff, tell me it would be with me within five days? Nothing about the branch?

No answer, then I ranted again and she said

“Oh, I know what I can do to help you?”

She told me to go back online and type in

“I need help? That made me smile,

Then my question will  be answered if I type in what I need.

I did. After 176 answers, I  still didn’t get my answer, so I thought, oh well, Just keep going to the end and I will be asked if my question has been answered? I will say no, then  I will be put onto someone who can help.

Got to the last question then a message came up saying

“You have come to the end of your answers, goodbye?

So I thought, oh great, oh well, luckily we have to go into the bank on Saturday anyway, and today,

Guess what one of the parcels was?

Our card reader…..

Then I ordered a new  Vacuum. Remember, the ugly one, I sent for from Amazon? I dare not get it out of the box. Then Teens light fitting came, I ordered that not having a clue what it looked like, just knowing it was reduced from £249, to £31. A bargain? OMG?

You should see the size of the box? It is huge? I hope it is packaging, or would be suitable for a  Grand Opera hall.

Hub won’t let me look in the box, as he says we won’t get it back in and have to wait for someone to fix it? But if I see it, I may not want it up?

So two boxes stand in my living room.

My plumber is finished thank God. More dust. But won’t be back.

Teen playing football now and Bunches? Bless her, she has a huge gash just above her eye. Twelve stitches too.

Poor darling, she has her posh weekend away and will be so conscious of her appearance.

I cannot believe that kids  can play hockey and not  wear any protection for their eyes?

Hub taking Monday off work, so looking forward to a long weekend with him. Great to have him home. We are so silly together, like children and it’s nice to laugh.

Take care with love until later, and then there will be more. Oh and some Gossip too!

BUNCHES IN HOSPITAL AND THE HEADLESS CHICKEN

Evening friends. Poor Teens Bunches, has been in hospital most of the night, as she has had an accident at  school. Playing hockey,  the ball went in her  eye almost, thank God, just missed and hit her on the eyebrow. Poor baby, had to go to hospital with her teacher, as her Mum away on business. Just in time for a very important posh weekend she has to go to this week too? Oh bless her I do feel for her, she has the most beautiful dresses to wear and she has twelve stitches. Not good for a 16 year old.

Teen is rather upset that Bunches has not given him a card for his birthday? She will be away on the day of his 16th. It is not like her though, so I will be surprised if nothing at all happens?

My Hub is home and everyone including the beasty girls, are in bed. Waggatail, has been very naughty today, she beheaded my chicken. I will write about it in the next addition of “The diary of little Waggatail.

Night friends, where ever you are in the world, a big hug from me to you. x

Singapore

Welcome new friends. Hub on way from London now, so he is in the UK. Bunches in hospital. More on that tomorrow. I have had a lovely day, talking to my BF. He is a tonic.
Going to make tea now, just wanted to drop in and see how you all were? Later gators. xxx

IT'S OFFICIAL

Good morning my friends and Blogget family. After going to bed at quarter to three this morning, I woke up at half seven, had another half hour rest and got up feeling fresh as a daisy.

I had a good sleep. No night terrors thank God. I have had loads of those of late. Where I am sure someone or something is in the bedroom with me, also, what I have been feeling, is that Hub is in bed next to me, I put my arm out to cuddle him, and  he  is not there? I sit up afraid,

“Where is he? Then think, oh, he must be in the shower, for work? Then I have to think, or is he at work, is  he in France? America? Then I shake as I can not remember where my  husband is in the world.

Oh it’s awful, truly awful.

But now I am awake, I remember he is in America and San Diego, sounds lovely.

Today’s weather where I live in the UK, is sunny, but so cold. The air is still too. No wind, just spring, knocking on the door.

Well, I wish someone would hurry up and let him in, as I  have had enough of the cold now thank you very much? I wonder if it is a sign of age? Cold never used to bother me.

Well I hope to God, today is the last day for my work man? He is so slow, and I would never recommend him.

A nice guy, not his fault, he is not too bright and sunny himself upstairs?

I put the dogs soft toys in my washer last night, I will go in a minute, to see if there is anything left? Haha haha. Oh I will make sure the hounds of the beasty girls, are not watching as I open that washer door?

My dogs are already annoying me. My LC, is taking the toy from Waggatail, Waggatail is trying to head but LC, to get it, my poor old BB, is having a nervous breakdown, knowing they are being naughty, going wild, and does not want to get in the way of those two brutes.

Hang on, plumber calling?

OK, had to leave this post for a few minutes, whilst I said words to my plumber?

It’s official, my plumber is homeless!

He must be, he is coming back tomorrow? Again? What for now?

I just think he likes it here.

I mean, there is nothing now to do?

My fingers are numb with trying and in the end succeeding to put the lock on the gate. Only after, having to scream like a fish wife in our street, as Little sly Waggatail, with bells on her  neck, she can control, did a runner around the street? Bare in mind she does not answer to her name? After I shouted it six times, I shouted

“Hoy!”

She came then, so that is official too? My Wagga, is called Hoy. Well why didn’t guide dogs not tell me?

That is where I have been going wrong.

Oh the soft  dog toys? Survived the washing machine, now they are in the dryer…..

As I  removed them from the washer, came through the living room where the beasty girls hang out, I had two and a half dogs attached to my arm.

Waggatail  was around my elbow, Long chops was on my shoulder, and poor Black beauty, was shivering jumping anxiously up and down on me…. ha.

God? Three big dogs, is not easy, but it can make you smile. I am sure we look hilarious to others.

Hub home late tonight thank God. I can’t get excited until I know he is on the last stages, so when he has landed, then he gets a tube, then a train, then a taxi. 24 hours travel. Taking away the time difference, as in the US, where he was, they are eight hours behind us. He left at eleven last night will walk through the door tonight, about the same time.

Shattered I am sure, but this trip has been a bit of a jolly, I am sure. What with Stevie and the pool? Ha.

A good book title. “Stevie and the pool.

TEARS ON TRACKS

Good evening Bloggets. I hope you are well? Only one more sleep if I can, before my Hub will be home,  thank God. I really don’t like night times on my own. Teen does his own thing, but even if he is in the same room as me, we don’t have anything in common? Also where ever he goes, scratching sounds can be heard from his earphones, and it really winds me up, as the words are not good.

He has done  homework most of the night apart from when he came down to eat. With my friend today, I bought him a cheese scone, and a sausage roll. He ate them before I could say Jack Robinson. Then I made his tea, of fish and vegetables, “Yack, but healthy. Then he came in and handed me a dish of pasta, telling me I had nothing to eat so he made it for me, bless him, this was ten tonight, then, he sat, and also ate a dish of pasta.

He is very slim and into body stuff, weight lifting. But he will never be beefy, as he is naturally very thin. Not skinny, he has a good body for a young teen, but he wants the hunky body look. Hence the pasta?

My friend was telling me today, her daughter has  given her mobile up for lent… How could she do that? I couldn’t. But it is a good sign, to say  how strong her willpower is. I have non apart from not eating meat or fish, or anything with a face.

I loved  meat, all kinds of meat that was not revolting. The nastier, the better for hub, but I ate all the chicken, turkey,  beef, pork and lamb. Loved  it. Then just said no and have never regretted it.

I never ate fish, perhaps this is why my brain is the way it is hey?

But now my diet is starting to worry me. I can go all day with nothing at all to eat, then other days, I will have a bag of crisps for my breakfast, then a sandwich at night, that is all, then other days, I will have a meal out and nothing all day, other days, I will eat four slices of toast and then nothing.

For calories, I mount them up as I eat the wrong things, but where are the vitamins?

I really want to find the power to start to eat right. But teen eats well. I have always made sure of that, though he does eat some rubbish now. I never used to allow anything, but now all gone.

Talking of lent, I think people are giving up technology as I have noticed people on Facebook, are not leaving comments or statuses  very much, if at all and I know of a few people who have given up their mobiles, or IPods?

It used to be food,  how times have changed?

I feel really bad, as this is the first year I have not bought teen anything for his birthday. I am giving him money, but for his 16th, it should have been something else, though he loves money, as he buys his favourite thing, clothes.

Bunches has a funny plan for him next Saturday? The weekend after his birthday. I don’t know what it is, it is very strange though whatever is going on there? I will find out I guess when it has happened?

Another thing, I thought Mother’s day in the UK, was always the last Sunday in the month? This year, it is on the 10th?

We are living in an odd world, and sometimes a sick one. Teen was telling me just before he went to bed, as you do, he read something awful on the net. I asked him what  it was? He told me, a couple in America have just got married. Both men, but here is the really weird and sick thing, Father and Son?

Oh God, that is just nasty?

I really think the father should be arrested?

Surely?

Well, Hub may go a little mad when he comes home, not only I have bought a vacuum cleaner today, I have also bought a wait for it? Light fitting.

Both over the net. Now, the vacuum, has good rates, but everyone says, it is rather ugly? Hahahahaha. I didn’t know you could get an ugly vacuum?

Oh bless, I will give the ugly thing a home. So unloved.

As for the light fitting?

Oh God, All I know is I am sick of teens room. It is so shabby. He  has a beautiful, well, was beautiful chest of drawers, to match his book shelf. Solid rustic wood, with carvings on of his birth sign.

The furniture cost a fortune many years ago. Teen was a babe.

So they owe me nothing now. But the draw, is hanging off and two of the other ones, hardly open, so when he is getting anything out, it is as though a mallet cladded, masked murderer,   is making his way through our walls.

Well, we are unable to pay for new furniture right now, we can’t really afford to decorate his pink room, as that was the colour when we moved in, and he has no lamp shade on his ceiling, so I have bought this light fitting…

All I know by the description, is it was £249 and is reduced to £31.

It is chrome and has five arms with round crystal shades on it.

Well teens room is long so should be OK? Oh the measurements are quite small anyway.

It is for a room rather than a bathroom before you wonder, as I did.

So, what do you reccon? Hahahaha.

Let’s see what it is like in a couple of days when it comes?

OMG, I’m scared now?

Well surely, it can’t be worse than what he has, a stupid big bulb hanging there?

“It can?”

“Oh!

Oh but my ugly Vacuum? Well, at least it will pick up?

I can’t tell you how many vacumes I have gone through in my life?

I think they are made not to last, so we keep buying new.

Talking to my BF tomorrow so really really needing that, as he is a tonic, he makes me feel so good. I love to hear his calming voice. I really don’t know what he sees in me, as I am always manic when I talk to him, so the opposite to each other, and yet we have the strongest connection.

He is so clever and witty and adores his lovely wife, it is so nice to see that these days. They  have been together forever. Since they were very young, I hope my Teen if staying with Bunches, will be as happy? I would like Bunches as a daughter in law, when they are a lot older though? The question is, will they be able to stay together that long, there are  girls at my Sons school fighting over him, even a member of staff, told him she would like him for her daughter, ha. As for Bunches, she is really a true beauty, tallish, very slim, long lovely natural blond hair, blue eyes teens words,  perfect white teeth, ha. And really nice skin. She will be  able to get any young man and when she goes off to University, will she be able to resist the Hooray Henry’s?

If it all goes wrong, Oh I am dreading handling that one?

I always thought my teen, would never get hurt. It would sadly, be him hurting the girls, and so far it has been that way,  but this one, is not so secure.

This is the risky one.

Or was that frisky?

You know, you go through your child’s life, first tooth, gripe pains, falling over, first day at school, first time they go on a sleep over, getting bullied at school, are they going to be lonely children, are they going to be excepted? Are you doing enough as a parent, for them? Going through their tantrums. What will they do when they leave school? Oh and so on? But how to handle a broken heart?

I really don’t know how I am going to do that one?

I must say it is starting to stress me out  a little.

OK, a lot. When my Hub and I were kids, twelve, we were to go to different boarding schools. We had been together since we were six. We had gone on a holiday with the school quire to Germany. It was a wonderful holiday. It was in the summer holidays from leaving our old school, to going to our new ones.

The sun was so warm every day in Germany and we had a lovely time, my little friend with the wonderful name was there too. We got on the train to come home, and one by one, the train would say goodbye to one of our friends who we had been family to with, for many years. They were all our brothers and sisters. We all had a very strong bond. Then it was time for Hub to get off. Suddenly, I realised, I would never see him again. How stupid I was? Not to have thought of that? He said he had, but there were no mobile phones in those days, I couldn’t read  Braille, he couldn’t read print of course, and there was no computers and certainly no speech software

I broke my heart, but my stop was the next one and I had to compose myself, as never cried in front of my Mum before.  Also, it was the time, when My poor Darling Dad, was seriously ill in hospital. He almost was killed, as the mine where he worked, caved in on him. He was in hospital for eleven weeks.

So I had to remain strong.

Then when I  had to be in pain again, it was when I was in love with my Russian boyfriend. We used to talk of getting married, we were equally in love, but the KGB, and the Mafia, got in between us.

I remember that day so well, as though it was eight years ago.

I can feel everything, see what I  saw around me at the dreaded time, I can even smell what I smelt My beautiful very very handsome boyfriend of two years, told me we had to part. He was adamant, though had tears in his steel blue eyes. No explanation. I was oblivious to the Mafia or how much involvement the KGB, had in our relationship at the time.

It was two years later when I was to learn of the extent of what had gone on, and for two years, my poor boyfriend had been punished without me knowing.

So after he told me we were through, I was like a clockwork toy, just had been  wound up and I couldn’t stop.

I ran back to our hotel and pushed past the body guards on the door, who thought they were the presidents guards.

Their serious nasty faces didn’t scare me anymore. The cruelty of communism, cried out to me for the last time. No more  fear, no whispers on the corners of the streets. No more watching my back.

Though at that time, I really didn’t know how much my life was in danger.

My Mum was in our room. I burst through the door. Crying. My Mum didn’t ask what was wrong, she must have known. She sat on the bed, as there were no chairs in the bare rooms.

I lay on the bed and broke my heart. I remember thinking, that my heart was going to drop from my mouth, I had been like that before, when my parents left  me at boarding school for the first time.

Way back when I was six.

I couldn’t breathe, it was frightening. My mum sat there. Saying nothing, doing nothing, we did not have the arm around the shoulder relationship, but all I wanted was a hug.

I went crazy from then on, dating as many guys as I could. Then gave up on life and married at seventeen.

I died for twenty four years and was brought back to life by the man, who said goodbye to the little boy on the train from Germany.

So how do I handle Teen if it does go wrong? I really don’t know!

Let’s hope it doesn’t, he has had a lot in his little life too!

Hmm.  Must sleep now. My eyes are full of sand and I have to be up early again, in fact in seven hours. My work man coming for the  last time.

Sorry for all of the mistakes, I am sure there are loads more than normally, I am too tired to think, I have  had about 16 hours sleep this past five days.

Until later on in the day now as it is after the pumpkin hour. xxx

DOWN AND DINING ON THE FARM

Hi friends, just a  quick chat before I have to try and fix my stupid vacuum cleaner again. Really I am sick of it. So sick, I have gone and  ordered another one from Amazon…

Hub won’t be impressed, but, it was half price, good reviews and light. I need one now, not by Thursday, that is the only trouble.

With three dogs, I clean the floors at least once a day.

Oh it is so easy ordering from Amazon? Too easy? Hahahahaha.

I love it.

It is a bagless vacuum too, With the beasty girls, I have a bag full of thick black hair every two days? The bags are really deer too?

OK, enough on my domestics, jog on shall we?

I went out today with my friend from church. Oh it was lovely, we went to the farm shop. Everything is homemade and there is a shop attached to it selling all home made products and local delights.

There are fields of strawberries and other plantations you can pick your own produce too.

There  is a farm and a play area as well, and my friend and I joked we should have a go on the slide, though I didn’t want to waist the fire brigade’s time in having to call them out to remove, peal, me from the slide.

Gosh, it was packed the café?

Oh I had a delicious homemade coffee cake. Yum, it was lovely oh before that, salad, really crunchy  crisps and lovely sandwiches of cheese and homemade chutney, which was slightly spicy, very nice.

She is a lovely lady and really kind. We did have a lovely lunch break.

I bought some homemade cheese  scones, and some home grown tomatoes, oh, back to domestics?

Does it ever leave me?

Missing Hub loads so was glad to get out. Without my two friends this week, would have struggled, though short time apart, really been lonely this week.

OK, teen been in ten minutes, already, he has had a coffee, cheese  scone, sausage roll and picked what he wants me to cook for his evening meal. So I better go now to save what food we have left in the house.

FOREVER FRIENDS

Good evening my friends and Blogget family. Here I am abolished to the conservatory, whilst my Teen and Bunches have their time in the living  room.

God, the dust in here with the work man, has been so bad. It has taken me a couple of hours to clean this room alone. Workmen just don’t care and walk right through the house, with their shoes/boots on.

The traffic is so noisy out the back. We have a seven foot wall at the bottom of the garden, but the road is just beyond that and it is a very busy main road.

It is almost nine now, and there is a car/vehicle, of some sort, passes every four seconds. Until ten minutes ago, there were two every second.

That is one very bad thing about where we live. The pollution, is awful.

You rarely hear neighbours out the back, just traffic, where is everyone going? At this time of night?

I have had a  great day. My little friend from school, with the wonderful name, came this morning.

She is also blind, but more brave than me, she came on the train, after a bus and taxi. And once the taxi driver took her to the wrong house, and realised it was not the correct one, he found us.

She has a bear of a dog, oh bless her dog, she is lovely. My friend is an owner a little like my Hub, has the dog as an necessity. Whereas me, I have them as my family members.

We had a cup of tea, and started the chatting….. Well, I talked, she listened, bless, her, I do that too much. I said sorry, but she laughed and said she loves to hear my stories, hahahahaha. Of course, accents come along with my stories, I go into character.

The words, “Slightly deranged, come to mind.

Then it was time to go on our adventure. I was to lead my friend,

“Remember, the one with the wonderful name?

To our local restaurant. I  swear, we  are keeping them in business?

Well, I let the four dogs out for their pollutions and my friend and I were farmers counting our sheep, making sure they were all in? hahaha.

Then all the nappy bags and harness, leash and different collar were put on the dog, or in my pocket, and off we went, saying bye bye, to BB and LC.

I was not afraid, or anxious, and, was quite calm and excited. My friend works every day and is really independent, but has not got any condescending words to say to me, for sure she doesn’t make me feel inadaquid.

We went there, and my Waggatail, was great.

No mistakes at all.

The monkeys were out at the zoo. My friend could not believe the noise. I was shouting on her, making sure she knew which way to walk, as it is really disorientating, when you can’t see or hear?

It is like a football match. We got past and our dogs did great. Our lovely Lewis was not there sadly, but Hennery was, though I called him Simon?

“Don’t ask.

Long story.

Well, it was so funny, they know me and guided me to a table, I was saying my friends name and she followed with her dog. She did great, not dragging anyone’s plate from their table as she passed by, I would have done?

The guy showed me my chair, then showed my friend.

Then we asked for a menu to be read?

The waiter, handed, well, no, threw, the menu, to my friend, she smiled and once again, asked, for it to be read, saying she could not see?

There was silence…… He had gone.

Well, we waited, and waited, then the waiter came back, and asked if we  had decided?

We asked again, if he could read the menu? He said he would.  He did, we

 Ate and enjoyed.

God we talked for two hours. Came back home, and it was already time, for the teen to come from school. He was funny, my friend laughs at him and that only encourages him to be more of a fool.

Well Bunches came, had tea stayed for a couple of hours, well, three. And left, Teen a little gutted, as she won’t be seeing him until after his birthday, and not even a card? Oh dear….

My friend got home safely and we agreed, we had a lovely day. We are the kind of friends, who are just that, friends, nothing awkward between us and there for each other. If someone said to me five years ago, my old school friend, my first boyfriend and I would all be back in touch, I would have never believed them. But we are and it  is lovely. Natural, how it should be. My first boyfriend from six till twelve, is now my Husband and my little friend,

The one with the amazing name, ha. Is  as close as we were at school.

So today, I have had four dogs in our house, and they have all been really well  behaved, though mine were abolished to the conservatory….

I know how that feels?

Tomorrow, I am lunching again, with my friend from church. A busy Fi. Oh, I got a call today, Nikola, is coming next week to teach me the route to  our village a couple of miles away.

Great, also, I have a volunteer, going to walk Waggatail and me to a field in that same village.

Still have not been matched with a volunteer for outings? Hahahaha. Don’t know why?

Hub has a few hours before his big dinner, but the last time I was talking to him, he was sunning himself, as the two people from South Africa, were not allowed visa’s into the USA, last minute.

OK for some? Sitting next to the pool? Ha. Glad he is relaxing for a change.

We lead such different lives Hub and I, but we have a connection as one.

Teen being a load better thank God.

Right  until laters my Bloggets.

x

IT'S A WONDER

Good morning Bloggets, I  am waiting for my friend from school to visit me for the day. She will be bringing her guide dog, so I will have four dogs here, ha. God, I can’t  put mine in the conservatory, as have a work man in and out. LC and BB, will be good, but Waggatail? I only have two arms, so I hope they will be OK?

We are going out for lunch, I will attempt to lead the way as of course my friend with the amazing name, doesn’t know the route, though I have a feeling,  she will be better than me.

Of course if she gets lost, or I do, I will be shouting her name, she will be mine, and of course, if you haven’t guessed, we are both called Fiona?

So picture the scene.

A man is standing at the bus stop. He sees me, a blind person going by, with her dog, shouting

“Fiona!

Then, he sees another blind person go by, totally different looking to me, with a guide dog, shouting,

“Fiona?

He will go home to his wife, and say,

“Funny thing I learned today, when blind people are out  walking with their dogs, they find their way by shouting, Fiona!”

Hahahahaha.

Let’s hope we can be more dignified about our outing?

OK, let’s  not!

Tonight my Husband, is having dinner with an absolute hero of mine. Stevie  Wonder. Oh my God, how lucky is he?

Oh well, I am having lunch with my friend Fiona. How lucky am I? ha.

The work man has a huge pipe outside my front door. I hope to  God he hurry’s as she will find it really hard coming through the blooming door? I wish he would hurry up finishing the job, to be honest, he has been a nightmare.

Talk about slow? The odd thing is, he puts in many hours, unlike some work men who come for an hour, leave come back two days later, he puts in eight hours a day, not sure what he does, but never seems to stop?

Oh, Bunches coming tonight for tea again. So after my friend leaves just after seven, I will be abolished again to the conservatory.

Can’t complain, my choice they don’t go upstairs.

I won’t tell you what teen said she was going to give him for his birthday?

On that note, later gators. xx

WINGS TO ME BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Wings to me
By Fiona Cummings
An angel kissed my heart last night

I lay so still not even in fright

I wanted to ask what was his plight

I could not believe I could see without sight

The love of grace was upon his face

The sound of silence filled the air

Though words came to me in a prayer

My soul he touched so tenderly

Removed my hurt and agony

His golden hands fixed my broken heart

His silver promise reassured me from the start

Words he spoke never before I have heard

Like a tune from a beautiful song bird

A language from where I did wonder

Was I in dream had  I made a blunder

No this was real I have had time to reflect

Just never before has anyone been so direct

Streight to my mind, my body and soul

An angel visited me from where I don’t know

And in a whisper he filled me with delight

He placed his hands and gifted me with moments of sight

Why me? I wondered and asked without moving my lips

He  just smiled though he had no features and his wings started to lift

”Don’t go, I begged him to stay

And these are the words he began to  say

You are free now from any pain

I will one day visit you again

But the next time I will take you away

For now on this land you must stay

It isn’t your time to fly with me

I just wanted to tell you one day you will  see

Just look what is in front of you right now

No need to understand

Ask questions why or how

The next time you will be able to see

Is when you bring your wings to me

DARLING CHILD TO MAN BY FIONA CUMMINGS

DARLING CHILD TO MAN

By Fiona Cummings

I cannot believe how sixteen years have gone so fast

So much we have gone through together in our past

It doesn’t seem so long ago since I held you close

You were the perfect baby with golden curls and a button nose

You looked at me with your sapphire eyes of love

It was then, when I knew you were a gift from above

How proud you made me

The most beautiful baby

All I had to offer you was so much affection

And a promise of a lifetime of pure devotion

It was you and me against the world

I had to protect my precious pearl

All I wanted for you was happiness

I never wanted you to understand the word sadness

Together we went to your first day at school

Listening to your gripes of having to obey the rules

You placed your hand in mine  it was so small

I watched you grow up so handsome and tall

Battles we have gone through

Arguing for sure this is true

But always been there for each other

SUNDAY NEWS

A very happy Sunday afternoon to you all out there. The weather in my part of the UK today, is cold, sunny and windy, as my wind chimes are playing their gentle tune. Hub arrived in America safely thank God. Today he is off on his wine tasting experience. He will have some nice cheese’s and wines, see how it is  made and tonight have an evening meal.

I didn’t know until yesterday,  he was meeting with his two friends there who also work for the same company as hub, so they will have a lovely time.

Yesterday Teen an his girl Bunches came for so called tea???

Well if you can call tea at half past eight in the evening?

There is a huge story around that, not going into it here? Ha. I just cannot believe it.

Anyway, Bunches was as sweet as ever, different from the time when on phone talking about how she would get rid of a baby if she got pregnant?

She told me of her beautiful clothes she had been shopping for with her Mum.

Wow, they sound so very pretty. Four dresses from  French Connection and Mango? They would be a couple of hundred pounds each, her shoes were £80 her boots were £200 and hand bag was £300. She is going away next weekend all over teens birthday. Such a shame, she is to go on a weekend with her school, where of course, they need four dresses for three nights?

At least she is feminine, not many of those girls left?

Nothing was said about you know what?

All  was as it was, when she came other times.

Again, she was relaxed and happy. It was nice to see. Teen absolutely adores her and she seems to care for him?

I do really hope, they will stick together? As for a daughter in law, she is perfect.

I just hope to God, she does not get spoiled by money.

I really don’t understand, how parents can afford to give their children such a life? And what a life she has?

Her Dad picked her up and spoke to teen. Teen really likes Bunches parents and they must think something of him, or they would not give him lifts and drop Bunches off here? And yet, the two kids, are like chalk and cheese. I know one thing, teen will love and care for Bunches, more than any solicitor or Doctor?

When Bunches is here, in our living room, not upstairs, the house does have a family atmosphere. A happy feeling.

I got up early today and was picked up by my Welsh friend  and his lovely daughter. We went to church. The lady who did the service, had a game board for the children to look at. It was an old game of Snakes and ladders she has had for many years.

She described the pictures on it, rather than holding it up for people to see, as it had the bits on so they would have fallen off.

She apologised to the congregation, because they could not see the board. I was quite happy, as we were in a similar boat, but the game sounded so innocent  compared to our board games now days?

Pictures on the board, like a little boy, riding his bicycle and a little girl, watering her seeds, then finding flowers. There was a moral to the story, believe me, I just thought, how sweet were days gone by?

Over the years, life has become more challenging, harder and more mean.

There has always been cruelty, like in the Victorian days, but now days the youth, are very selfish. The language they use is awful and how it is excepted on our television screens?

Images and sexual innuendos, are thrown at us through our screens, radio and newspapers. On billboards too. Many years ago, a billboard would be of a small boy, enjoying a bar of chocolate? Now they are of half naked girls, trying to sell fizzy drinks?

I am just interested, in where will it all go? How far, will it go?

What will happen, when all our nice old people die? Though there are some good young ones left, like the family from Wales. They are our good friends here.

I am out with Lady Wales on Tuesday, we are going out for lunch, in the village I wrote about a couple of weeks ago.

And of course, tomorrow my friend with the lovely name, no sorry, fantastic, name, is also coming. I am showing her the way to our restaurant…..God help us?

She is up for it, though, the dare devil she is?

At church, there was a lovely girl came up to me, she told me about her tenth birthday. She told me she had received a handbag, from her friend. As she showed me it, she automatically, put it in my hand, telling me what it said on it. I asked her the colour, and she told me.

The thing is, how natural, it comes to kids how to be with blind people? Because they have no fear or, inhibitions.

Teen has walked Black beauty around our lake, well not our, lake, but a public lake. Thank God,  he didn’t let her off this  time. Now he is doing his homework. A busy week for me for a change and I will keep you informed, that is if I ever get my friend and myself back home from our Chinese meal?

THE DIARY OF LITTLE WAGGATAIL

23 Feb 2013

Hay Doggets, it’s me, Little Waggatail. I’m bored stiff? I want to go out for a free run, but Mummy doesn’t know the route yet and there is a one close by to us, but Mummy says no, because she already finds it hard to get me to be convinced to get passed the lovely, green grass when  we are going to the shop.

Oh, all those balls going to waste. I could kill at least three of them.

I have been out working a couple of times this week so far though, and I did really great, apart from that time I walked Mummy threw a lady? Hehehehehe. Class?

Oh, you should see my Mummy bounce?

“Boing, boing!”  Hehehe!

Right, what else, have I done this week, oh, one thing that made Mummy laugh, and I almost doodled myself.

My old fat sister, BB, lay   there, like a black pudding. So I had no one to play with,  LC, was in London, visiting the Queen with Daddy.  So I head butted BB, hehehehehehe.

Well, after seven buts to the brain, BB, got cross and made a noise? I almost died so I did that thing, I got into trouble for when I was little. Em, almost  too ashamed to say, as I knew I shouldn’t.

Barked?

One woof only though?

I scared myself so much I jumped through the air, over BB, landing on Mummy’s knee. Good job Mummy wasn’t drinking a cup of tea?

Oh my voice is so high? I really sounded stupid?

BB laughed at me. I felt silly, but Mummy didn’t even tell me off.

Oh we have a posh toilet. A hairy man came and made it for us.

Thank Goodness, no one can see us Doodling now. Privacy at last.

I  got wrong today, because I pinched Mummy’s chamois leather. Oh I didn’t realise, how good it tastes? Yum. Mummy went mad, but I did give her it back,  all slimy and so very soggy, oh, and a little ripped?

Hehehehehehe.

Well I was fed up, no duster to play with, so then I pinched our grooming brush, hey, that is a great toy?

I got wrong for that too. Then I  brought a stone in from the garden. Mummy must have  been thirsty, as she told me that was the final straw.

it kind of worked, as Mummy got all of our toys out for us. BB doesn’t really play, but    LC did, and it was great, oh, we went wild?

Then Mummy went and spoiled it and took them all away.

Hmm.

Hehehehe? I had a plan. I  rolled Mummy’s rug up and played jumping over the bump. That was fun?

Then Mummy got that thing out with the long tube that makes that awful

“Oo oo

Sound, and when I got too close to it the other day, Mummy, yes, my Mummy, almost sucked me up in the box thing?

I did not like that. Hay though, it is great, my two sisters and I make loads and loads of black hairs on Mummy’s floor, so that tube thing, takes them all away?

But I thought, if it  does that to our hairs, what will it do to us?

I’m keep in a wide birth from that in the future.

Oh I have lost my bell and disc with my name on it. Mummy doesn’t know where I am now?

Hehehehe?

She has looked everywhere even asked that little fella who must  be my brother, as he almost says Mummy too, he does not put the ee, on the end of Mum though.

So he must be kind of a brother to us?

He keeps taking my picture on his square thing he talks through. That looks a fun toy? Might have a go of that later on. Oh  I heard him saying he was going to bring a playmate back for me, called Bunches. She is funny, she screams when LC and I go near her. We play click the dress game?

I like that one, see who can make Bunches dress tear the most?

Hehehehe. Class?

She doesn’t like playing that though? Don’t know why?

Right must give Mummy her lap dance back now.

Lots of licks.

HI KENYA

Welcome Kenya today

Good morning Bloggets. My Hub left this morning for his journey to Santiago, USA. He went first by taxi, then train, soon tube then aeroplane for twelve hours, then a taxi to hotel in about nineteen hours. He will have his meal, then bed when I am to wake up, then sleep until the Sunday morning, which will be late afternoon in the UK. On the Sunday, he is going on a wine experience with colleagues. Sounds great, though I would not get past the first glass without feeling a little light headed, he will have cheses and in the evening, a meal. I hope he feels the sun on his face as he learns the making of wine. Hard work starts for him on the Monday, with long meetings of technology discussions. He has to do  some interviews whilst he is there, to decide what company will be suitable to provide the latest tech, for the blind.

Then on the Monday evening, oh my God, I am so very envious of him. I can’t say what he is going to do, but I also can not believe it is going to happen? Amazing, I hope to let you know when it is over and in the meanwhile, I am bursting with envy.

Right now, I am feeling OK, as he  is only away five days. Poor Long Chops, is so sweet, she stuck to her Dads leg like glue today before he left, then to the suitcase.

Teen is in bed still, he is to meet with girl bunches and bring her back here.

I have done my morning jobs and now waiting for Hubs 20th Anniversary present to arrive. Not for our marriage, but for his job. Kindly after twenty years, the company buy a gift, and Hubs is a beautiful powder red cast iron seat / bench, to sit out in the sun, I hope, in our summer? I can’t wait to see it. Hub has picked it, but has not got a clue what it looks like, as it was bought over the internet.

He chose it and the company put most of the money to it.

I am always interested in the diversity, of the choice of gifts. One  of Hubs friends/colleagues, bought a chicken coop.

OK, I am going hunting now for a dog bell and I.D disk. Waggatail has lost hers. I have never been able to find a set that will stay on. That was the only way I knew where she was too, as she is as sly as a cat.

Happy Saturday with love.

A POEM FOR MY HUB

A poem for my Husband

By Fiona Cummings

Why does my heart melt when I hear your voice

I am so grateful you married me when you had so much choice

I can never fall so deeply in love with anyone else other than you

Though you can turn my eyes to green from blue

We have had some times of hell

But our inheritance of love I will never sell

How I am feeling inside I can never tell

Though emotions run deep

The hill we are climbing is steep

I so want us to get to the top

As way back there is a long way to drop

Your velvet kisses

And dreams and wishes

Are in touch  with my heart

I hate the days when we are apart

I feel like I am in a hole

No way out to reach my soul

Years ago you gave me your hand

I found someone who could understand

I travelled with you to another land

A new life and adventure

A feeling of absolute pleasure

Calmness at my leisure

Feelings I will always treasure

I love you Darling Peter

POSH CHEF PARTY

The posh chef

My lovely coffee cup friend was to pick me up and we were to go to a Posh Chef party. Hub was also to be collected, to  go to a beer and curry night with the guys. This was all  new for us both, as Hub only knows a couple of people from the group, I only thought I knew coffee cup, until I got to the house. Teen had actually been in a whole day, and looks like he will be in today as well, as Bunches,

Is going to a

 “Spa day!”

Tomorrow is the night he is partying. Bunches is coming here. I wish I had somewhere to go for the hour before the party, though not leaving them here.

Any way enough on them, I will give you an update next week on that side of my life.

So back to  our night last night.

The doorbell rang, the wolfs went mad, Well, Long Chops, barked did a lot of growling, Waggatail, cried and moaned. Little Black Beauty, just did her usual thing of bowing, sticking her bum in the air, I mean, what is that supposed to say to incomers?

Anyway, it was the wonderful sweet  caring Kevin and friends. Kevin is a great guy, so glad  he went. Hub left on the walking bus? Hahahahaha. No tickets needed. Forty minutes into town, picking people up along the way and into the pub. At first Hub said it was fine, in the background, there was a football match on the television. Then a big game came on, well Hubs hearing went. The sound was turned ups so loud with the sub base pounding, so Hub could not hear the conversation. It is really hard for us to join in when there is loud music, or crowds of people. Sighted people do a lot of lip reading. I bet you don’t realise what experts you all are at the art of reading of the lips? Try it next time you are in a group of people and there is music. Don’t tell anyone you are doing it, though they may think you are a little odd, when sitting there with your eyes closed, so perhaps do it when just you and your partner are in a room full of loud music. No one sighted speaks louder in those situations. So I promise you won’t be able to hear. If you all do it as a group, then you  will all compensate and talk in a louder voice, so of course then you will, be able to hear.

But they were not there long and off to the restaurant. Hub enjoyed it and he spoke to some really interesting people. Of course our funny Welsh friend was there too, and Hub really gets on with him. Well there is a future blog I am sure about Hub in the late evening trapped in a car park trying to get back home, ha. But later gator…. He returned home safe thank God.

My night?

Coffee cup and I walked to her friend’s house. Chatting on the way, she is a very clever lady and quick witted. A Lancashire lass too, so my old school days were brought back, thankfully not the bad memories, as I had some great friends there, two of them, I am still friends with and although we just keep in touch now by Facebook, we still have a deep connection, as we went to the first boarding school together too, so from the age of six we have all known each other.

It was a freezing night, and still, ever so still.

I deliberatly, didn’t tell teen what time we would be back, he kept asking.

As we stood on the doorstep of the persons house, ringing the bell, from the closed door, could be heard lots of laughter. A lot of ladies were at this Posh Chef’s party.

We walked in the warm house met the delightful lady who was hosting the party and behind me, walked a beautiful soul from church, no, not a ghost, but Sarah. Oh she is so very nice and funny, through the night, told me she was a size 8 clothes. I thought, “God, that’s my leg? Ha.

Coffee cup showed me to a chair and bless her was my eyes for the night. Sarah sat next to me and in walked my Geordie friend, from where I used to live, my home town. She and I share the same humour, you can’t beat the humour or warmth of the North East. There is nothing or nowhere like it.

The ladies were really nice and so well behaved? Hahahahah. Totally different to the parties I am used to back home? Ha.

Well then it was time to start the Posh Chef party….In walked a tall man, with his chef’s hat on, white coat, chef’s boots and check trousers. Silver spoon in hand, plum in mouth. Queen’s English rolling out from his Private school taught tight lipt mouth…

OK, not quite, a lady started to talk about the night an her roll.

No, not jam roll, but job.

Posh Chef, is  a company from America, and by the prices, the items they sell, we are to pay for the transport from America too.

First class!

I think it was on the lady’s/hosts coffee table, this rep, prepared a curry, in a hurry.

My homey, said “Oh curry in a hurry to me, is out of a jar?

I said mine, is out of the freezer?ahhahahahah. We, laughed.

It’s funny, Homey and I, laugh from our belly’s, the ladies around here, laugh from their mouths. So interesting to see how people differ from town to town in the UK.

I must say, the curry smelled lovely, but all I could think about, was, I hope she is not  scratching her table with the chopping and so on?

The lady who was doing the talking, selling, was great, she really  described everything she had and was doing with it. I bought a garlic press. I hate the smell of garlic on my hands and this thing, you put the garlic in with the skin and it does the removing of the skin and crushes the garlic for you. For the cost of £20. And some pence.

It was a nice evening, with really interesting nice ladies. My friend and I walked home and  Hub came in about half an hour later.

Then I went to bed, got up, wrote some poems had some toast, as had nothing to eat apart from two hot cross buns in the morning before. Just could not eat anything. Oh, and some rice at the party, as it was chicken curry so would not eat that. But it did smell  good.

Up again very early this morning as half eight my plumber is fixing the toilet, for the last day.

Hub off to the US tomorrow.

Have a lovely Friday my friends. x
