SAY HELLO TO HELL
BY FIONA CUMMINGS
Listen to the rhythm
of the rain falling
Hearing heavens tears calling
God’s word has spoken
Children are starving
Lifestyles are appalling
Animals are choking
Factories are smoking
And the land we were given
Should have been our heaven
But we chose to destroy
Ending the green foliage
Using modern life as a deploy
Even changing the
biblical word marriage
God must be up there in his golden carriage
Looking down to earth
Wondering why he gave birth
To such a world
Throwing away reason, for gold
Walking past those in need
Watching the famine as we feed
Turning kindness into greed
Tearing at wounds so they bleed
Throwing lives down the well
Say hello to hell
