MONDAY? WHATEVER!

Good morning to you all, whoever you are, where ever you are and whatever you are doing!

OK it’s Monday. Who likes Mondays? Not many of you I bet? Me? Well to be honest, most days are all the same to me now days.  I used to hate Sundays, as that was the day I had to go off to boarding school. Now, obviously I don’t have to do that and either thanks or not, to Hub and his work, Sundays don’t have that same sinking feeling anymore. They just blend in with Mondays, Tuesdays and every other day of the week/weekend.

Hub can be away Saturdays and Sundays, so my weekends are nonchalant. I can be helping Hub to pack on a Friday night or getting excited that he is returning on a Monday afternoon, so you see what I mean? It is good that that dread of Sundays now has left me, but bad, that most days mean the same or nothing now.

He is working away most of this week, but, in the UK and will be home late at nights. Then of course we have now less than two weeks before our trip to Oslo… I am like a scared kitten. So anxious. First time I will be with a large group of his colleagues. Did I tell you we are travelling with someone we know? Not too well, she is my artist friend, I have only known her for a couple of months, so it kind of will be like travelling with one of Hubs volunteers, as we don’t know her too well, but she is  nice and we are grateful she will come with us.

We are staying I think in or near a forest, there is a lake around the grounds. I don’t really care where it is, I am just pleased to spend time with  Hub, though, to be honest, we won’t spend too much time together, as he will be in meetings all day and night times, will be official dinners, so Blogget Fi, will have to be on her best behaviour….

It is only two nights, and if my Husband had not been going away almost as soon as he returned from Oslo, I would not have gone, though, it is a place I have always wanted to go to?

Hub is off to the great USA for a week a couple of days after we return from Oslo.

Lucky duck,  but of course, he won’t see any of it as working again, so apart from airports and hotels, there is conferences to be done, meetings too, but his p.a,will be going with him, so I can relax, knowing he won’t on this journey be on his  own?

The sun is shining today three days in a row? My God? Are we having a summer?

I have two dogs today, much easier, though I so miss Long Chops, but, Waggatail, winds up LC and they go wild. Oh, I phoned the boss of guide dogs today, as he was going to come out on Friday to see us…

I told him, we are working through our problems. I explained to him, I have learned, that I can go out when it is right for Wagga, not me… Now, some will laugh at that? I must say, I’m smiling.

He spoke a lot of sense though and he was not as scary as I thought he might be. He said, that they were breeding dogs now that were different to years ago, and Hub was really lucky, to get a one like LC, as they are hard to find.

They are breeding dogs that are more sensitive now apparently.

What, to perfumes?

Hahahahaha.

Oh Wagga is sensitive alright, to anything that makes a noise, a mother with a pram the other day, she almost died, the dog that is, not the lady. Unlike the Chinese woman, who jumped in the bush out of our way? Can you remember that blog? Ha.

Oh and on Saturday, I took Waggatail to the local shop for guess what?

Go on, guess?

Blooming milk! I tell you, I need a cow.

We use sixteen pints of milk per week.

I have the tiniest drop in my tea. I would love to live without milk or eggs. I don’t eat eggs as in omelettes or scrambled eggs, though, I love them. But with me being a vegetarian, I just can’t, though as Hub says, I can eat cakes, without feeling bad? Hahahahahaha.

I just say, yes, but those eggs have their clothes on, I simply can’t eat naked eggs, its wrong!

Anyway, I digress; some voices passed us whilst returning from the shop. My dog stopped and I felt her kind of make a biting sensation? Then as the voices went passed, one what I learned was a child, said, I told you not to distract the guide dog? Well thinking nothing about it, got home, of course Hub home ages before me, ha, he noticed, Waggatail, had a tennis ball in her mouth? So the children off to play tennis, were a ball down.

Oh, interesting developments perhaps with Teen and Bunches yesterday? Next blog.

Right off to do some housework. God?

Sending love on this Monday and if you are not happy it’s Monday, at least we have all faced it together and some are alone. You are never alone when I am here because there is us. Our Blogget family and we have so much respect and love for each other. xxxxx
