A DOZEN WISHES
BY FIONA CUMMINGS
Give me a dozen wishes
This is what they would be
Rosebud kisses
A forever summer
And to safely roam free
How happy we would be
My love and me
Laughing all day long
Eating the sun
Making us strong
Beautiful butterflies
Heavenly Tiffany skies
Shivering shocks turn to surprise
Saying goodbye to
sounds of cries
Being able to answer what’s and why’s
Spreading love all around the globe
If something is fixed leave at home the probe
Forever lullabies sang by angels
Sounds of the ocean
What a potion
Life can be seen from so many angles
Nothing is black or white
Everything is just right
The blind will be given sight
The lame will walk
The deaf will hear
The mute shall talk
There will be no fear
No killing
Just peace
And giving
What a world that will be
So why not join me
