A FOREVER DREAM
BY FIONA CUMMINGS
Dreaming of butterfly’s
Fluffy clouds in the skies
Grass ever so green
The most beautiful flowers
Ever to be seen
Warm sunshine
Everyone so kind
Cool rivers flow
A gentle breaze blows
Kindness in humanity grows
Animals run free
The blind can see
The lame can walk
The mute shall talk
And the deaf will hear
There will be no such thing as fear
Those considered having learning difficulties
Will show us all their
finest qualities
The shy will look to the skies
With pride in their eyes
With the knowledge that they can do anything
Church bells will ring
Birds shall sing
All troubles will be confronted
Nothing will be hunted
A land of hope
Where life can cope
We all get on together
In a dream I wish would last forever
