DIARY TODAY

Oh what a 24 hours. Long story, but one day I shall tell you.

Let’s say personal issues going on.

My Son is working hard poor thing, but my love and I are off together so that is great.

After I got home at lunch time, I received a phone call from my friend from Northumberland. You won’t believe this story?

A couple of days ago, her and her daughter went grocery shopping; it was packed so they decided to go very early today. They were at M&S at ten past seven this morning. There was a queue to get in though the shop had been open since seven. Staff there, said the queues had started at six this morning.

There were no baskets/trolley’s to be had. This is after it took forty minutes to get a parking space in their car park.

They only could get those tiny baskets so they queued at that particular till, as for the trolley tills, staff were saying there would be one and a half hours to queue!

The shops will be closed for one day only and that is Christmas day. This is ridiculous how people panic.

We use on line shopping, and the slots for delivery’s open at midnight three weeks before Christmas and if you are not quick, you miss your slot. I just wonder nowadays, is there anything which can’t be bought on line?

Our shopping all came last night, everything but butter. Then, we had to dash out.

It was a lovely day though with our twin brothers and Dad, who sadly is unwell right now.

The weather is appalling so this may be one of the reasons why people are now shopping so they can be home safe.

It’s wild with wind and raining hard.

Right have to leave again soon. Just wanted to say hi and let you know how crazy life is when it comes to Christmas shopping.
