You found me dying on the ground
You said I did not make a sound
You picked me up and gave me the kiss of life
You pulled out the knife
I had stopped breathing
You found me bleeding
You bandaged me in your hold
Your wealth of love was like gold
You brought me back to life with splendour
You were so tender
You showed me what I had
been missing
You really wanted to listen
You made my life complete
You removed the feeling of defeat
And showed me how others live
You made me believe you wanted to give
Your life to me
A family
Everything that made me so very happy
