NEWS VIEWS FOR BLOGGETS

A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of his identical twin brother, who died after a fight on New Year's Eve.

We all have this idealistic idea, that twins get on so well, but I have twin brother in laws, and until two years ago, I can imagine that one would quite easily harm the other one. Thank God they now get on.

Margaret Thatcher drew up plans to declare a state of emergency and call in troops to move coal at the height of the miners' dispute in 1984, government documents reveal.

Well, just as you can’t expect pit men to fight in the army, you could not get soldiers to dig for coal. It’s a specialist matter/field. But she was an idiot, so thank God its history.

A white floral wreath in the shape of a two-fingered salute accompanied the hearse carrying the coffin of Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs as mourners gathered for his funeral.

Well, obviously a person with no respect but the funeral was for a person of a similar way of thinking..

SHOCKING video has emerged showing the final moments of a 100mph motorway chase involving a Dudley man with his three young children in the car.

Wow, would you as a Mother allow that man to take your kids out again?

When users compose messages that include links to a third- party website, Facebook scans the content of the message, follows the link and searches for information to profile the message-sender's Web activity, violating the Electronic Communications Privacy.

Doesn’t surprise me.

Michael Schumacher's former team brings coachloads of fans to the hospital where he is fighting for his life on his 45th birthday.

It has been reported, that the fans gave a one minute silence out of respect. Oh Gosh, I found this weird. That is normally what you do when someone is dead?

It’s awful I think to do that. Yes, pray or carry banners with messages of get well, but flowers and silence is all too odd.

Scientists have discovered thousands of pieces of plastic submerged on the riverbed of the upper Thames Estuary, threatening wildlife in the river and the sea it feeds into.

Well, let’s hope that something will be done about it? And fines will be made for those who dump rubbish.

The Mars One project has whittled its 200,000 video applicants down to just 1,058, who will compete for a place on the entirely hypothetical one-way trip to the Red Planet to establish a human colony.

As you know Bloggets, I believe that is how earth started. Through another planet crashing into ours and aliens landing on earth.

Why don’t we send all the serious criminals up there?

If you've had shingles before the age of 40, you could be at an increased risk for heart disease and stroke. According to Counsel & Heal, researchers followed individuals for an average of 6.3 years after they had contracted shingles.

God, that is one thing I haven’t had.

More than a third of all adults across the world are overweight or obese, a UK think-tank says.

OK, I have got that…

In a large study of Swedish men, further evidence has emerged of the smoking link to cataract development in the eye, with addiction to 15 cigarettes a day raising the risk of needing a cataract operation by 42%, compared with people who have never smoked

I know there are a few eye conditions that are caused by smoking.

OMEGA-3 oils, known to be beneficial to human health, are usually found in the tissues of marine fish, but researchers in the UK have engineered an oilseed plant to produce it instead.

Oh I love that news, as I as a vegetarian would benefit.

Just shows though how rare our fish will become and the government know it.
