NEWS OF LIFE AND RP

Not sure when this will get published as no time to write for hours, so have to just jot things down when they come to me… When I have a spare five minutes. So bear with?

Our dogs had a lovely day out with the lady who walks them. Hub is off work right now so Little Fella is home. Guess what he is doing? Ironing. Hub that is not LF.

Teen been up since four today only had three hours sleep. He came in so exhausted changed went to town for haircut and then to the gym. His words as he left the house because we don’t have any coffee beans. “OK I probably will fall asleep at the wheel.” Great. How charming. Two hours later, he’s not answering his phone.

Hub trying to do my kindle all day as tomorrow for some kindles they have to have updated software. We are having a nightmare.

We went to the shops briefly.  Both dogs worked well.  Alarms been going off all over the place as we had power cuts all morning.

A brief look at the news.

A poor Irish lady is grieving after losing five members of her family including her two young Sons after a car plunged off a pier.

There are talks of a three hour train journey from London to Scottish cities. Gosh, too fast. Too dangerous.

Bank bosses will have their bonuses stopped if they don’t hire more women. Gosh, really? Even if the women who apply are not as good as the men? Crazy

Apple is launching a new mobile, Apple watch and IPad pro. Again? To keep us buying

Millions of pounds have been frittered away by the National Health Service on treating migrants and illegal immigrants an expert has warned.

Madonna, I have no respect for her and she has none for herself. In Australia I heard that she lifted the top up of a young girls who is 17 how disgusting. I heard she asked permission of the Mother well if the Mother gave that permission, she should be reported. That woman is a disgrace.

OK since I wrote this my Son is back. Less hair. Now doing something to his car. Cosmetic. Involving a wire brush and our drill. Don’t ask. I haven’t.

Dinner tonight was gross. I really didn’t like it. So unhealthy and tasteless. A dinner of convenience. Hubs eyes OK today no pain and mine are fine too. Just the normal for him and myself. Me, I’m aware of them all the time, Hub in pain all the time but he can cope with today’s it’s the normal one. And it’s the abnormal one he can’t bear.

So what is the latest for those of us with Retinitis Pigmentosa? The first human trials of obtogenetics about to commence. Researchers in Texas are planning to use a ground breaking neuroscience technique to attempt to restore the sight of blind people.

A UK based bioteque company has been awarded 2.1million to press ahead with ground breaking research into stem cell therapy that could one day help the body to regenerate organs and tissues damaged by disease.

A patient in the UK can now read the time thanks to advanced retinal implant

So we are getting there slowly but I hope surely.

On that note I shall leave you for now. With love.
