ART IN THE TUNNEL BY FIONA CUMMINGS

ARTIST IN THE TUNNEL

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Under the soft lights

She creates delights

Each stroke with love

Angels guide her from above

Colours which matter

Papers do scatter

The brush tells a story

The artist has her glory

As she is praised

Her work raised

In homes across the world

Framed wood, silver and gold

The knowledge that such beauty could be achieved

From sight stolen

A heavy heart grieved

But through her art words are spoken

The tunnel is narrow

May close at some point

But the art will live on

As the hours we will count

 Such work and dedication

So much passion

It’s a loving vocation

We should show our appreciation

For this gifted creation
