PUDDLES AND PATHS

Today we went out with wagga and LC. It was raining but on we went. She did good as we went the road way and missed most of the overhanging branches and shrubs. The sounds of the wheels on the road swishing through the wet puddles were as though a load of industrial sized bin bags were being scrunched up.

We passed the school, the shop and she even missed the dreaded knee breaking barriers outside of the Chemist, which stop cars from ramming the shop windows.

We not only found the Doctors, but the post box which we needed.

In through the double doors where I think someone was holding the doors open for us we would not know as they didn’t talk, but the doors were open, so there must have been someone there with their silence button switched on.

The receptionists were as ignorant as ever, hardly being bothered to raise their voice to let us know it was our turn, then telling us to find a chair. Where? To the right.

OK

We did though, or rather our dogs found them.

We waited for ages, talking to each other about the subject on the radio. They were talking about lowering the age of consent for children having sex. Rather than talking about how they can implement the fact that they should not be having sex at such young ages.

They just talked about girls and girls having abortions and having babies at such a young age. Nothing about how they could get diseases and nothing about boys having sex.

Then our doctor called Hubs name and the game of finding the right door and the right Doctor began. We did it though and the Doctor was wonderful. I must say, it is like a breath of fresh air seeing the Drs Here; they are all young and really lovely.

So pain killers for Hubs eyes and home we came, via the chemist.

Had lunch and now start the housework and the rest of the day.

Until later  Bloggets and a blog from my very own Hub coming up. X
