So we were ready to go to my old home town to see Bruno
Mars. Our lovely Geordie friend picked us up in the car. A beautiful large
mini, if that makes sense? We dropped Olga off in town to have a look at the museums
and so on.
We parked the car and for a full day, it cost £7.50 but from
tomorrow, it will go up to £10.
We climbed the seven hundred and eighty one steps to the
station.
OK, thirty one. Haha..
Caught our train and laughed all the way there. Our Geordie
friend is so lovely and we laugh and put the world right too. We have Sons of similar
age.
Got off the train and went streight into a pub and had a hot
sandwich and drink. Then took a taxi to the Arena. I was buzzing with
excitement. Oh Bruno was in the building as was I. If only he knew I was there,
I’m sure he would have insisted that his security guards would escort me to
Bruno’s suite?
You don’t think so?
Oh! With the help of our friend found our seats and the
support group were great, though can’t remember what they were called, Mayer something.
Amazing.
Then there was a break. Oh Gosh, come on, we had a train to
catch. It was the last train of the night at 11.09
It was almost quarter past nine.
Then the screaming began. My heart began to beat faster; I
could feel it through my skin. Bruno came on and sang played his guitars and
got the crowds going wild.
Even Hub loved him. He said it was one of the best concerts
he has ever been to. He was shocked as he really didn’t care much for him. My friend,
who had no clue of what he sang before the concert, also said he was amazing.
She said his dance moves were stunning
Then the musicians were fantastic OH my God, the talent in
the arena ways stunning. Mind blowing. I loved it and our Geordie friend told
us what Bruno was wearing and his moves, which was really kind of her. She was
great. I love her she is a really fun person. Today, my stomach hurts with her
humour, ears buzzing with the beat and heart warm with wonder.
We got home after the coldest night on earth
our house was warm and the smell of Olga’s delicious cooking was welcoming.
It was well after one in the morning, all were in bed. But a
cup of hot tea and Olga’s pie was had by Hub and myself..
Bed and an early morning of exciting visitors from the village
I used to live some years ago.
