OUT TO THE FARM

Hello Bloggets. A very busy day. This morning all our dog food arrived so the door was constantly going. Then time to take the dogs to be washed at a local farm. First time we have tried them there. Our little Waggatail had been bathed by our neighbour, so only two to take. LC and BB.

Well it was perfume heaven for the fluffy ones. Horses and rabbits.

We passed a van with two very vocal dogs and through the rickety gates and rocky road, we found the lady. Oh gosh, her room where she washes the dogs was a right mess, but a lovely lady.

Oh poor Long chops cried like a wolf. BB was looking at her every time she cried; I think she was looking out for her little Sister.

Then it was her turn.

They got lovely spray on them too. They were dried but not really enough, and it was sooooooooo cold. The door was open and the wind was blowing in. It started to sleet and I could not wait to get in the house.

Then Beanie came and we did some shopping and then home out of the dark damp bone chilling sky into our warm house withthe smell of homemade cooking.

Hub had made some lovely food. Comfort food. Yummy. Now getting our guest room ready for our friend coming from Russia.

She arrives tomorrow.

It’s ready to snow heavy I just hope my friends flight won’t be delayed tomorrow as she only has forty minutes to get on her train.

Just looking at our news. Four people in a house two ladies and two children killed in the house fire. A little girl still in hospital. I feel for the little girl who survived.

My Canary Irish you know has been very quiet for two days. I hope he is OK. I am going to feed him some broccoli that normally brings his happy face on.

Since we have had our loft insulated, the sound in the house is so different. Like a carpet on the ceiling.

It’s so much warmer.

OK, I shall keep you up to date with our week as we have to fit in lots of things and remember I am off to see Bruno Mars on Monday. Tomorrow with love. X
