As the nights close their thick velvet curtains
The fire is a blazing
One thing that I feel certain
And it’s totally amazing
How much in love I am
No more cold winters
No longer does my heart splinter
I have found my soul mate
For me a golden gate
Opens for freedom
A wonderful feeling
As though I am receiving healing
As I light a candle
And put on a lamp
Sit with my tea cup
Put my hands together
and look up
Thank our maker for all that I have
So grateful I have found warm true love
And as the snow falls from above
I am incredibly warm inside
And I can say goodbye to the tears I have cried
and hello to the glow
inside my heart
Together forever
We will never be apart
