Well as you may have guessed, my Teen is not doing very well
in his job. There are two people there staff, who are making life very hard for
him. Bullies really. He has had a word with the boss, but he of course has to
keep quiet about the other members of staff, as they are supervisors. His boss
has acknowledged Teens honesty with the man who dropped his wallet and the dear
old lady who brought him in some homemade baking, and the fact he has covered
last minute for people calling in sick. But also has to take it upon board,
that one out of the two members of staff, are making his life hell and have
formed complaints about teen.
It’s a long story, but the person who is being mean to teen
is doing rather immature things like screwing
her face up when teen walks in
and every time teen says hello to the person, she ignores him. She is on his
case all the time, reporting him some weeks ago for being late, though he was two minutes early though she said he
had to be ten minutes before his shift starts. He has never been late since.
She told him his trousers were too tight and had to buy different ones. He
changed them. He asked one day where something new belonged. She answered a
real mature response
“It belongs, where it belongs!”
She is an idiot.
She comes to work ten minutes late every day and does as
little as possible all the time.
She is responsible for four people leaving that place since
teen started.
There has been more than three complaints made about her but
nothing gets done to her and I have my theories why.
Shame when people have to behave so badly. Teen was ready to
leave but his boss asked him not to and to sleep on his feelings.
So his next shift is Tuesday. I just hope the woman is not on
duty.
At the end of the day, it is a job though only earning £4
per hour, but still a short walk away and is pocket money for him.
Though to be honest, I’m not too happy him coming home at
nights in the dark it’s always after ten when he returns after stock taking.
One young lad the other night was passing a car and the car
stopped. A woman got out and shouted for him to stop. Then next thing was, four
men took the lad to the ground. They were so called undercover cops. Poor kid
was terrified, who wouldn’t be?
They didn’t arrest him. They had nothing on him. But imagine
if we had guns here? God, it’s not worth thinking about.
I saw some homework Teen did the other day from college and
it is fantastic. He has an amazing brain. Let’s just hope he will continue to
use it and be successful.
Right, going now. Lots to do as ever. Just wanted to give
you a catch up. X
