NEWS AND VIEWS FOR BLOGGETS

Once again I have read the news and tried to pick out some things which may interest you and give you my views. Join in with what you think at anytime.
Gunpoint

One of our X Prime Ministers, Tony Blair’s daughter, Kathryn aged 25, was held up at gun point in central London. She had spent a happy weekend attending the wedding of her Brother Euan and Suzanne Ashman.

Kathryn was with her boyfriend wen the incident took place. The couple were walking their dog, when they were approached by two men, one holding a gun.

It was reported that the former PM and his wife were very proud last year when their daughter was called to the bar!

No, she does not suffer with a drinking problem, the bar as in law. Kathrynne, is a Lawyer

“Well let’s hope that she will go hard on gun crime now?

Too evil for words

The mummified body of a four year old body has been found in a cot, in the bedroom of his Mother. The body has been there for two years after his death. In a baby grove suited for a baby of nine months, the Mother is accused of starving her child before he died.

The jury heard that the Mother has been claiming child benefit money for the two years that the baby/child has been lying dead in the same room as her. It has been reported that the Mother dealt heavily with alcohol and drugs.

ALL VEILS OFF

Our Health secretary has said that he supports the “Autonomy” decision for all hospitals to ban staff from wearing veils which cover the face.

I have to say I completely agree with this, just as sighted people like to see their (Trusting) Doctor/nurse’s face for feedback on what sometimes can be either devastating news or comforting words, blind people like to see their medics face through words and we can tell when the face is covered up by a veil hence, not a clear picture.

SCOTLAND ON its OWN?

I really hope not. One year from now, Scotland will vote on independence from England.

We are a small group the UK, so why not just stick together   opposed to small groups which will in my opinion, cause friction between Loyalists to each country. I just don’t know how Scotland will manage on its own? The fool that is heading this idea, is fine in his luxurious house and his piles of money, does he not think about his family who will be left when he is long gone?

DRUNK TANKS

This I think is great. In Merseyside Police are considering bringing privately owned drunk tanks, to tackle the Boozers. Drinkers who get so intoxicated, that they are unable to look after themselves, are to be locked up and charged up to £400 the morning after.

IS IT A BIRD? IS IT A PLANE? IS IT MY IPOD, OH, NO.

Simon McCoy, a BBC news reader went live on television this morning to read the news. Picked up what he thought was his iPod and it wasn’t.

It was photocopy paper

I guess it was a late night for him and an early morning?

I’m always fascinated by our obsession with space travel. The cost of exploring another planet when we can’t afford our own? Please tell me why this next expense is necessary?

Snakes are crafty animals. They can be found slithering in the desert, swimming in the ocean and even flying in the air. But how would they deal with another planet altogether?

A European Space agency, wants to send a Robot snake to space. Why?

IT’S A DOGS LIFE

More than 300 stray dogs are picked up from Britain's streets every day, according to charity the Dogs Trust. The charity says local authorities picked up nearly 112,000 dogs last year alone - that's 307 every day.

KEEPING TRACK

270 people have been killed on our train tracks since 208. To be honest, I thought it would be higher.

JUST LEAVE THEIR AMUNE SYSTUMS ALONE

A new flu vaccination for toddlers will be on offer for the first time this winter. The vaccine will be available to two and three year-olds and doctors with the West Mendip GP Federation will be inviting parents to get their children vaccinated against flu.

Absolutely ridiculous. In my opinion. For so many reasons.

ALL DRUGGED UP. WHY NOT?

A cannabis-based medicine could help the world's 50 million epileptics control their seizures after a British drugmaker today began putting a potential treatment through human clinical trials.

“We’ve officially gone mad.

So nothing light or funny to report on our news blog today, but I hope to make you smile at least once today in a blog. Later with more. X
