DIARY OF NEWS & VIEWS

Hub is in the kitchen, no, not cooking a wonderful meal for us all, he is in there with a hair dryer. Hmm. Not drying his lovely hair either, so what is he doing?

Defrosting the freezer. Haha. Oh yes, it’s very high tech here in the Fifi Blogget household.

We had dinner, I can tell you it was horrible. Chicken for teen again, I swear we should have a chicken factory. I asked him if he wanted ice-cream for dessert? He replied, no, as it’s a lot of calories for nothing… I agree. I’m not a huge fan of the cold stuff either, sometimes I like a little but if I am going to sin, I would rather have chocolate or a bag of crisps.

Mauritius are back, in fact they have been back every day. I bet it is a Blogget on holiday? They are not saying… But glad to have you here, if the viewers stop after another week, then I will know it is an old Blogget on a beach holiday.

I was pleased to see Brazil back, not seen you for a while, about ten weeks in fact. Could be a new Blogget, or an old one returning. Whoever you are, welcome home to the Fifi blog page. Smile.

Our Son has made a good attempt in removing the weeds from our patio. Really, it was like a carpet out there. He did them a couple of weeks ago, but with the rain, they came back in vengeance. We are about to watch some TV, something we recorded that we are all interested in, as Teen has no clothes to go anywhere, haha, they are all in the wash. Gosh, I’m so going to miss him. I simply don’t feel complete without both my boys being here. Thank goodness my Hub has the week off work so I’m not on my own, as the house would be so quiet. The more Teen tells me about his holiday, the more I want to sleep for ten days and the more I try to look up the place he is going, the more I want to disconnect our internet provider. My idea of Greece is delicious food sunshine and happy people with lots of plate smashing, haha.  Might not be exactly what Teen has in mind. Oh one thing I saw as I was looking up what there was to do, was a vodka cannon. Well I heard that vodka can make you blind if it goes in your eyes? So just another thing to make me a little queasy.

So what is in the news today? Well thank goodness a petition has been rejected to call for a second vote on the EU referendum. Hopefully now those people will calm down and start to be friendly and show their neighbours love and friendship. In fact, let’s hope we all can show compassion and respect, wouldn’t that be lovely? US company Del are raising their prices they say because of Brexit. Well, I for one would look to buy another product. Sad about two teenagers aged 17 have died at a music festival. It’s said to have been drug related. Really odd that both same age but from totally different parts of the UK. They are babies, I feel for their parents. Now this is crazy. Facebook are introducing secret messages, where there is a time limit on the message you sent then it will self-destruct. Why is that a crazy idea? Because with terrorists these days, work it out?

And finally as far as news is concerned, the oldest person in the UK died today aged 113. Last year she was the eldest person to have a hip replacement and her Son Derek aged a youthful 85, said she lived to a good old age. Imagine having your Mum until you are 85?

OK will love you and leave you but not for long, I will be back. X
