DONE IT NOW BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Done it now

By Fiona Cummings

Crashing down

Slam into the ground

Everything is spinning around

Pushing me back

Forever in black

We’ve done it now

Said goodbye

No more tears left to cry

Scared though

Fingers clinging onto snow

Life is going so slow

Need to drop the ice

Can’t because the knife will slice

We need answers

We have entered the world of chancers

What on earth have we done

Being chased but can’t run

Standing in our way

When we wake each day

Is the devil

Staring at us

With horns of rust

Inserting fear as he must

No one to trust

Just each other

I will be your blanket

You my cover

Protecting

Reflecting

Staying together

Whatever

Life has changed but where is it going

Time has the answers but it’s not showing

The constant pain

Rears its ugly head again

In the pit of my stomach

What will be the damage

Seeing red rage

Turning a new page

A new chapter

Will it be happy ever after?
