LITTLE BIRD

Hi there, well, today we have had red hot heat for a change. Yesterday sadly we didn’t get to town. It was pouring with rain and standing waiting for busses and our dog and white cane walking and swooshing through the puddles didn’t sound like much fun.  So we stayed at home, had our Saturday tea, I love our Saturday tea’s, they are so different to other meals we have. We had homemade soup, homemade garlic and rosemary bread, French bread, olives, beetroot salad, potato salad and other salads.

A rather interesting week ahead, more on that later. Today just a bit of housework, cooking and this morning, I thought some paper was flapping around our garden. But no, it was a blooming bird in our conservatory. Cheeky thing sat on my couch. Teen tried to get it out but it was just flying into the windows. At last we got it out, but its little friend was peering through the window trying to see it. Then when the bird got out, his friend came and sat on the patio with him. Then they flew away.

If I had been on my own, I would have died? Haha.

Its summer and our dogs are casting badly now. So just groomed them and could quite easily make a winter jumper with the fur.

My friend from Russia, was on the skype last night. It’s odd. She is two miles away, but we are communicating by skype…

OK will go for now, but loads to come this week…. Stay tuned. X
