THE PATH OF LIFE BY FIONA CUMMINGS

THE PATH OF LIFE

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

We go through life up hills sometimes mountains and a lot of times we are not even privileged to breathe such fresh air that the mountains gift us with. Some people walk along smoothed roads with clear paths whereas others are constantly having to climb over and up and beyond. Rubble gets in our way even high brick walls are in front of us and though we can see the sky, there is no way of climbing over that wall. Sometimes we don’t even see the sky as a roof covers us like a lid on a coffin.

Some of us have the sunshine guiding them during the day and the silver stars and amber moon in a cobalt sky by night. Others are in total blizzards during the day and by night are in deathly darkness.

Some people have to fight their way through rubbish along their way whilst others get rubble removed though with some reluctance on behalf of others.

Some wonder which way to venture? whilst others just seem to know which way to go without any directions/instructions. they always end up in a good place.

Some people ponder and are indecisive in which corner to turn whilst others go straight all of their life don’t even have the decision to make which path to walk on and what road to cross.

The truth is, there are no wrong corners, just paths we didn’t know we are meant to go on. The truth is, you just don’t know what is around your corner, corners hills are put there for you to have a bigger and better adventure as you can cope with these obstacles. Those who have a smoothed lane, are fine with a simple life, without motivation, they are the people who can’t be left alone to make choices as it is those people who are truly lost in life.

Beyond the noise of life, the challenges we face, the poison which some seem to drink and others throw away, we all have choices. Which path to walk on, what road to travel by, what to face and what we will wake up to and where we wrest our head by night. Yes, some have it more difficult and challenging than others, but this is because we are stronger and though we become weary, we end up fighting a war where we do win in the end!
