Forecasters are predicting that we are going to have a stronger than normal series of Atlantic hurricane storms in 2016, upgrading their forecast to between 12 and 17 named storms of which 3 or so will be major. They have already suggested names!
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June through November; the names on the 2016 lineup are Alex, Bonnie, Colin, Danielle, Earl, Fiona, Gaston, Hermine, Ian, Julia, Karl, Lisa, Matthew, Nicole, Otto, Paula, Richard, Shary, Tobias, Virginie, and Walter.
