19 21 25 NEWS AND VIEWS

Good day Bloggets. Only seven thousand views before we hit one hundred thousand. Do you think it’s possible before the New Year? Personally I think we will miss it by a thousand. Though it would be great to be proven wrong.

A hundred thousand views? That is crazy. Crazy in a good way.  My Hub was going to take over my job for a while but because of what happened to our LC, he has been out of sorts of late. We both so badly need a break, but this year I don’t think it will happen. My Hub and I have had one week holiday in a year. It’s not enough. And we didn’t win the Lotto again on Saturday, so there you go.

I think Mr. Clock; an antique friend from school is phoning us tonight. So we may be up late having said that I’m sure the call will be entertaining bless him.

Hub is collecting again for Guide Dogs on Saturday. He is doing three hours at our local train station. Gosh, I hope it will be busier than when he did a street collection a few weeks ago? It should be as its Saturday and at the station.

An old school friend has just become engaged for the first time. And the last as he has found a real lovely lady. So Andy is in his late forties but as they say, you never know what is around the corner and boy, has he turned a corner. Really pleased for him.

We are visiting our besties soon and I really need that day. Can’t wait.

Teen had a great day yesterday.   He packed so much in to his day off. Back to work tomorrow and Saturday, he has a long shift. He is doing a few ten hour days. That will be tough.

He was telling me he went for dinner to a chicken place. Guess how much for two burgers? Without chips by the way, but did include a drink.

Two burgers £15. What a rip off.

If you wanted chips it was extra. Oh my goodness.

Our street is so quiet of late, not sure why? It’s as though they have all gone on holiday.

The weather is nice today and it was yesterday too. Though, today is windy. Funny thing, the wind started last night and you know what? I said to Hub, it’s really odd, I almost forgot we get a lot of windy days and nights in the UK but though it’s been a dreadful summer for nice weather, I can’t remember the last time it was windy.

As Hub left the house today to go to the office, I really wanted to go with him. I miss the guys and the feeling of normality as in being useful. They are such a great team. Really homely.

My heart is broken as we brought a dog home the other night to see how he copes in a family environment; oh I fell in love with him. I wish we could have him, but sadly no. I felt a deep sadness from him and yet his tail wagged as much as our Waggatail. He was so beautiful. If I only could have one dog for each eye? Haha haha.

So, about to put the washing in the dryer, but took a look at the papers and this is what I found.

One teacher has died after a masked person terrorised a school in Sweden with a sword. The killer was shot by Police.

In Essex a thirteen year old girl has been arrested after stabbing, which lead to a death, and in Cambridgeshire Police shot dead a forty year old man in the street after a row broke out.

The world’s largest trial is to launch to see if taking aspirin every day can stop cancer returning.

Did you know as we age, our brain shrinks? That is scary.

A baby weighing only just over one lb was put into a sandwich bag when she was born to keep warm.

The singer Adele has said her latest album is called wait for it? No, not that, but

25.

OK. That must have took a lot of thinking about as her other two were called

21 and the album before that was called 19.…. That really annoyed me. So many beautiful words out there and you use a continuation of a number.

Clever.

Not.

Apparently, one in three women watches pornography once a week.

What a load of rubbish. And that was read from the Independent. Did they ask blind ladies? Hahaha. How can it be one in three? Honestly. I had to read further and learned the study was out of three thousand women. I wonder what part of the UK that was. Obviously a Horney area…. (Middlesex?)

Hmm a bit Sus, so perhaps (Sussex?)

OK teen at the gym. And my kitchen is calling on me. So up to date with some news and views, I hope your day will be full of good news. Later gators.
