There’s always tomorrow
By Fiona Cummings
There’s always tomorrow
For then there may be a smile
To end all sorrow
Another day
Has the pain gone away?
No?
Well, there’s always tomorrow
For each day is new
A different point of view
Why is today going so slow?
Because the best is yet to come
You have not yet seen so much fun
What is a head for you
The most magnificent gift
For your heart shall lift
Your face will lighten
Your world will brighten
Everything will become clear
You will know why you experienced fear
To appreciate perfection
You will show others affection
Who are still in the queue
For the wonders that will surround you
They will get their day
And their hardship will go away
It’s all about tomorrow
For that will turn into today
And peace shall introduce itself to you
For all that is true
Don’t leave today please
For you shall let the winners be thieves
Just be strong
And go on
For yourself
As much as anyone else
For I will be proven right
And you will be given the right
To own the key to the door
Of forever more
And I will be there to shake your hand
For I understand
What you have gone through
To get to this land of absolute patients
We can all join in with
festivities of congratulations
So from me to you with love
Let’s just wait until our tomorrow
And life’s trials will all be understood
Like hand in glove
All making sense
No longer sitting on that fence
We shall be free
You will see
