PEED
BY FIONA CUMMINGS
Patsy passed her exams, so she prepared a perfect party
She made cocktails of colours purple, pink and peach, and
food ever so Harty
What to wear? She posed that question
So, Patsy, and her pal Paula went on a mission
But their tastes showed division
Patsy was conservative
Whereas Paula was live and let live
As Patsy posed with a prim and proper frock
Paula dressed to shock
Five inch heels for Paula
But Patsy’s shoes were more like flip flops
Patsy was petite with doll like feet
Looked in the mirror and admitted defeat
Paula passed her pal platforms
Within seconds Patsy was ready for a storm
It’s party time and she looked so fine
No one recognised her as she blew their minds
“Prim Patsy, in platforms and sparkles?
Very large earrings and at least ten bangles!””
Check out her makeup and pretty hair
The guys lost their chins as they started to stare
Patsy had gone but where?
A new look of life she wanted to share
She’d been nose in books for far too long
The lights were now, where she belonged
Umbrellas framed fizz
As Patsy’s head was in a whiz
She had never been in trouble
But now she was seeing double
So prim and perfect Patsy
Not only passed all her exams
But wham bam slam
She passed out
And with a shout
She yelled as she came around
Lying flat on the ground
“Never again
Pass me my books, paper and pen!
