JALOPY JUDDERING JUNK BY FIONA CUMMINGS

JALOPY JUDDERING JUNK

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Come on we’re going to have fun, take my hand

Join me through a marvelously magnificent land

  Of prettily pink flamingos

That’s if this jalopy juddering junk goes

I’m so curiously eager to discover

What exactly lies beneath that cover

A canopy which seems to smother

A world which belongs to an other

But take a chance

Allow your heart to skip a beat

And your feet to dance

Sit on the seat

We are in for a treat

Push a button on the dashboard and you’ll find a sweet

 They are so scrumptiously sweet

And totally scoffable

This land is full of colour

Nothing happens horrible

They say they get happiness out of being kind to an other

Where bright red helicopters hover

And lollypop flowers grow

There is ice cream for snow

And buttercup pathways wherever you go

Winter is found in the mountain

And only in winter season

We drink from the fountain

Water from the Gods

Perfect vegetables like the golden peapods

Jumping cod

In rivers which flow

Passing delectable ducklings

Under sunsets a glow

 Pots of peaches

Under the vibrant rainbow

Over the bridges where people’s hands reaches

To pick up a frog

From the chocolate flake log

 To put into the water

Where they wish for a prince for their daughter

Easter egg melt

And a liquorice belt

 Bubblegum bluebells

And silver church bells

Listen for the tunes

Look at the fun in the sand dunes

Where the turquoise ocean kisses the golden sand

Come on we’re going to have fun, take my hand

Join me through a marvelously magnificent land

  Of prettily pink flamingos

That’s if this jalopy juddering junk goes

They say there are purple elephants

With coats so decadent

Lady’s full of elegance

 So don’t be hesitant

Come on board

This lifestyle we can afford

For it’s free to people like you and me

So if you want to run to the hills

With forever daffodils

Take some thrills

And start it all over

Then put in your fingers this four leaf clover

Make a wish

And with a bang boom and a swish

We will be on our way

Come on we’re going to have fun, take my hand

Join me through a marvelously magnificent land

  Of prettily pink flamingos

That’s if this jalopy juddering junk goes
