THE GARDEN OF LIFE BY FIONA CUMMINGS

We get thrown loads of rocks and little flowers in our garden of life!
I read something today that struck a note of my wind chimes hanging on that old oak tree.
Vulnerability and love are the truest marks of courage.
Brene Brown
Got me thinking as those leaves fluttered by.
If we love something so much, we are very vulnerable. As we get hurt by those we love, we have to show courage because we need to be brave to continue.

Sometimes we seem to push through thick weeds and prickly nettles there is no ending to the unwanted foliage. We battle through the soil with the rain we get stuck in the mud, but after the rain, comes the rainbow! We meet with people who are the colours of our garden and that shape in the sky, and when we do, let’s be thankful for them. Which reminded me of a quote. “Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.””
Marcel Proust

You may have flowers in your life, in your garden, but, they may not be the kind you like or want. Pick your people like you pick your flowers. Leave the rest for those who will appreciate them.

I hope you have bunches of blossoms and believe one day your time will come to have your very own garden full of life and peace, love and hope. Hang in there and I will meet you near the potting shed. X
