WHY BY FIONA CUMMINGS

WHY

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Why does a flower grow?

Even fighting its way through the snow

 Why is a rose fragrant?

And why are flowers all different?

Why does a tree need to bear fruit?

As it says goodbye to the root

Each spring we wait for a new Shute

Why do we see beauty in all flowers?

And so many wonderful colours

Is nature absolute

Or was it created like a painting

Or a jigsaw puzzle with its pieces waiting

One by one life is put together

Like how a snake loves to find the heather

And such beauty comes from a moth

How stunning is that butterfly?

The grass is below and above is the sky

I just wonder, why?
