Oh, she is amazing

Rightly named Grace

Look at her tiny fingers

And her button nose

Her beautiful face

She has found her place

In our winter hearts

Warming every part

Oh, she is so cute

Her minuscule mitten

And knitted boots

As she looks up with such trust

To love this little darling

Is an absolute must

Oh, she is so sweet

I can’t wait to show her off

Tell all those she will meet

Who she is and what she means to us

Oh, so I make a fuss

And so, what?

When it comes to perfection

She has filled every slot

Ticking every box

Oh, look at those frilly socks

She keeps pulling them off

Tiny toes

Cheeks of rose

And skin of butter milk

Hair like silk

And eyes full of surprise

Wondering what mischief to get up to next

How can I ever get vex

At such an angel baby

Oh, she is so beautiful

Makes my life full
