THE GIFT OF LOVE AND
FUN

I was given new toys
As Santa delivered to all the girls and boys
What to do with my old ones?
Dolly’s that walk, talk and sing songs
Games that have been played so many times
Books that tell tales and read rhymes
I know, I shall put them in a box
Tape them up and take to those without
To know children like me will play and be happy
Will be a better gift than my family can ever buy me
And next year when I send Santa his letter
I know he will feel so much better
To know what I have done
To give a gift of love and fun
