THE END BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Well it’s night time. It’s quiet now outside. No birds or people cars or barking from dogs. Only the sound of domestic equipment! It’s been a long day. A day of reflections. A day of realisation. And a day when two lives part for the last time. At the end of the path, those people branched off to go their own ways. A new life and the end of another.

Walking away stronger an yet weak. Exhausted by constant corners, crippling the steps forward into the world.

The final lie was spoken and the last breath was taken.

At the end of a long day, how different the mind is now in comparison to how it was when they woke.

Different paths, different words, different futures and glued together by a past that was one of wrong doings.

A world apart. Time stood still just for a short time and now freedom has been given to them to close that door and move onto the next stage in life!
