A THOUGHT BY FIONA CUMMINGS

I read something today. “It takes a few seconds to hurt someone you love but a lifetime for them to be able to heal.”” Other sayings I have come across today are as follows.

It is when we are hurt, we learn. So true. We learn what people are all about. What they are capable of doing. We learn we can never trust them again.

It hurts to have someone in your heart, that you can’t hold close in your arms.

Being broken hearted is like having broken ribs. You look OK on the outside but you hurt with every breath you take.

And remember just because you think someone is strong enough to cope with pain, doesn’t mean they deserve it.

People say they are sick of getting hurt sick of constantly being beat up in this universe of life. over and over again, why them? I have heard others say that God will only give us enough that we can manage. Well why does God have to give you anything that is awful? To make you stronger for the next world? So, if that is the case, what on earth is the next world like? If it’s the more you suffer here, the better the place you will travel to next. Well, we will never know. But in the meanwhile, let’s think about how we can be positive? Positive thoughts. Some people say if you think negative, you will be negative, well that is easy for people to say. Being negative isn’t always a life choice. It’s circumstances. So, we need to learn how to cope with those bad times. Especially if you live on your own or live in a big family but feel like no one cares, we are our own teachers if we are all we have. We can stand up and look in the face of evil darkness and tell that face you can see the light. Metaphorically of course.

In every negative situation, try to find the positive in it even though the positive is so small you wonder why it was worth bothering about.

If all the doors you have tried to walk through and all the windows you have tried looking out are locked and closed, then time to build a new house. Start again. Everyone can start again. It’s our choice. Nothing lasts forever, good or bad. Enjoy all the good moments and when the bad times come, know they won’t last. Keep your minds open so you see hear and feel what you need to do next. Be guided and if your guide is absent for a while, know they are helping someone in a much worse state than you, but they will be back, just think about that person who is in a worse place in life than you are right now. no matter how much it rains, the sun always comes back out.
