THE WEATHER DANCE BY FIONA CUMMINGS

THE WEATHER DANCE

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Silver rain

Fallen against my window pane

Not again

Tears from heaven

When will the light for us mortals be given

Sun shine down to us I beckon

What have we done to deserve this lesson?

Are we sinners, is this a felon

Some would say a blessing

For without such droplets

Life wouldn’t continue

So skies so blue

Isn’t always a box of chocolates

This is so true

 Because plants wouldn’t bloom

We would all die

So give thanks to the moon

High in the sky

For tides are controlling

Whilst green hills are rolling

The master is the moon

The sun the maid

The rainbow the parade

The wind the slave

The thunder the communicator

War is the lightning

Can be so frightening

Though some think exciting

Fireworks in the sky

Do we need that?

If so why?

Late is the warmth this year

We have had winter Christmas cheer

 Cosy by the log fire

Spring chicks have been born

But still we aren’t warm?

Where is the sun?

So we can have fun

Heavy clouds race by

 In the silvery grey sky

 Winds are blowing

So cold as if snowing

Looking sad for themselves are flower petals

Ground level

Dominated by clayey soil and gravel

Is this weather here to settle?

I hope not

I have almost forgot

What it’s like to be hot

I’ve even thought about doing a sun dance?

But I dare not take a chance

Or thunder shall complain

Down will come more rain

I will be chased by fork lightning

A sky war will start fighting

I don’t need that

I want my sun hat

To feel the rays

And blossom days

A smile upon my face

But I must wait

As we have no control of what goes on

I just hope it won’t be too late

I don’t want to wait long

For our summer sun

YOU KNOW? BY FIONA CUMMINGS

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Because I love you you know?

My words I hope to show

As they are written in this poem

Your name is printed in my soul

With you, I am whole

My heart beats when you take a breath

Together till our death

Forever you and me

This request I plea

Your lips touch mine with reminiscence, of velvet

Like chocolate essence, I melted

In your arms I felt at home

Forever our souls may roam

In your eyes I see

A beautiful future for you and me

In your words I hear

Kindness so dear

I have thanks to you, reached my goal

So now I cheer

I feel so complete

And thank our maker

Your love is my retreat

Your arms are my blanket

No gold or trinket

Could take me from you

For you are all the treasures I need

From you, I feed

You’re beautiful you know?

THE DIARY OFPOSITIVE POISON POWDER

Good day Bloggets. This house is so silent an yet so noisy. Already I’m making no sense. I mean, apart from the voice on my lap top there are no English words being used nothing spoken, but the sound of my canary singing the most tuneful song and my dogs four paws running all over the living room floor tap tap tapping along with the noisiest toy she could find today, the washing machine, dish washer and outside the rain, winds and trucks, an yet there is no one to talk to or listen to. So noise can be heard an yet silence can be lonely all in the same room.

It wasn’t a good day yesterday. My Son still feels the need to shout, swear and totally disrespect us. His mouth got carried away with him last night and every time he does this, I wonder how my ex would cope with such a rebellion teenager?

I kind of hoped that when he turned eighteen, he would grow up enough to realise he only gets one set of parents. One Mum for sure and treat her in the manner she deserves. I know my ex never treat his Mother like this, but having said that, teen’s anger issues stem from him. As he also had the worst language on him and a temper from hell. But he was great to his elders. Unlike my son, who is ok with others, in fact sometimes wonderful, but to me and those who have cared about him for years? I’m so tired of it all. He just makes the house so unpleasant when he is like that. I wish the alien who removed my loving caring Son and replaced him with this dreadful moody hormonal disrespectful individual would get bored and return things how they used to be? Two and a half years ago. He was happy, perfect loving and just a normal teen. Yes we had issues, but nothing at all in comparison

I have said it before and I will say it again. Kids today are the worst ever in any generation. I know some of you will now be saying every parent says that, but no, really, something has gone incredibly wrong. I have so many friends with kids the same age and they are all alike. Teen is the better of most of them but my word, last night? All kicked off because I threw his poison powder of so called some kind of muscle builder that he adds milk to and drinks. It’s so called natural, yep, that is why it’s powder and manufactured? He bought it in October and I’m sure he told me he had six months before it went off. He said now nine. Well, October to now is seven months. So I thought it was off also he doesn’t use it half as much. And I’m sick to death of the huge bag left all over the place. I’m also very against it. I know body builders now will say its fine, but people used to say Tabaco was ok and now people are saying weed is OK to smoke. Hmm. That’s a matter of option too. I know of a lot of people who have done that or doing it and from highly intelligent people now they are almost like zombies. A few moved on to stronger drugs and others are totally paranoid.

People say the odd joint doesn’t do any harm. Well, what if that odd joint was required more oftern and why do you need a joint in the first place? Relaxes you? Then take a bath or a massage, lie in the sun or listen to some calming music?  Makes you feel happy? Well, what happens when it wears off? You are still going to have the same problems. Makes you sleep better? Again going back to my first point. It’s natural; it grows, yep, as does tobacco.

Anyway, leaving that subject now, teen is out, but due in soon, well, I think he is, not even going to bother asking. I just know he is not pleasant right now and both Hub and I know why, but why he takes it out on us?  I just wish he would realise who is in the wrong here, and because I threw out something of his that I thought was off, did I really deserve such disgusting language? Filth. And a lack of intelligence, something he has abundance of. He is a very clever young lad, just one thing he is a dummy over and he won’t let that go. Once he does, he can return to a happy person. Though unless that thing moves on and makes herself happier too, the two of them will be unhappy for life.

Yeah, some would ask why I write about it in such a way? Well, I said last year, gloves are off now and why the heck should I let an eighteen year old girl tell me what I can write?  After the hell she has put my son through.  And will do his entire life from now on. My ex says he gets on well with it, but if he only knew the half of what she is like and capable of?

Changing the subject now entirely. It’s pouring again with rain. You know that kind of dirty rain? It’s not warm either!  Something that sighted people just take for granted. They need something at the shops. You can go any time. Sometimes guide dog users have to go out at particular times. We don’t always choose. For example, no way I would go out when the monkeys are due to return home after their schooling, as little bodies running all over the place is a nightmare for me. So between quarter  to three and four, no way I would go out and in the morning, between half eight and half nine, nope. Well, we can’t pick times to go to the shops. We can’t jump in a car if it’s raining. So we walk, wet dogs and pouring rain on us. I have a friend who yesterday went in the rain to the shops and had to put her hood up on her coat. So this is a nightmare for VIP’s as that makes us not only blind but half deaf.  It’s awful. We need our hearing to get our balance as well as know where we are. Our dogs are aids but we have to be totally alert.

How lucky those with sight are to be able to do the simplest of things, and they don’t even know it.

Well, because of the rain, no gardener again today, so this will be week six. As for my window cleaner? Still waiting. I guess they could be locked up somewhere. Hahaha, I can’t think of any other reason why they have not been here for now five months. Much longer and we won’t need to close the blinds in the bedrooms. You won’t be able to see through them at all……

Well, a healthy dinner tonight. Stuffed peppers with savoury rice going to make those now. New potatoes and green salad. There will be nothing the matter when teen finds out there is no meat for dinner. Well, he used to be a vegetarian; he can bring back memories, right? And I think it’s so bad to eat meat every day. Lately we have been buying a lot of fish. Personally, I find it awful, as even when I ate meat, I hated fish, but Hub loves it and it goes with his health kick that he is still on. He has let it slip a little of late, but still doing well. I am not too sure I like him quite so thin. He used to have lovely chunky Daddy hands. Hahaha. Well, you know when he held your hand, you felt so safe, now it’s like holding a strangers hand. And believe me; I know more about that than I should, as I have done it oftern enough, without meaning to.

OK, I feel like some positive energy please today, so I will try to send you some too through some quotations.

AND THEN WHO WILL CRY BY FIONA CUMMINGS

THEN WHO WILL CRY

BY FIONA CUMMINGS

Breaking my heart as tears fall from my eyes

Why are you the angel in disguise

I never know where I am with you

Picture perfect gold hair eyes of blue

Why do your deceiving lips tell such lies

Why is it me who you seem to despise

When others treat you as badly as they do

And you know that I love you

An yet you are so cruel

Your verminous tongue

From someone so young

One day it will be too late

An empty cup and plate

What once was so full

Life could have been beautiful

I’m so dutiful

And yet get treat in such a manner

To you my head is the nail and you the hammer

I’m a ball to kick

A target for a stick

My heart you break daily

Do you hate me this much, really?

Where is the respect

It’s me you reject

Well, I won’t forget

And to be honest I’m fed up of it all

Stop kicking me like a ball

Metaphorically of course

Whip me like that poor horse

One day you will learn of what you have lost

But time will have past by

Then who will cry?

A SPIRITUAL VISITOR

Good morning Bloggets. Wow, what a reflective evening I had last night, well, very late it was, when I went to bed. I was happy, I really enjoyed yesterday. I was so pleased we managed to do some gardening. Though I’m sure you wouldn’t notice much if at all anything after we had spent hours out there, but in our mind, it must be better and looking at Hubs hands today, bless him, they are all sore.

I think the fresh air made me feel really good. So good I slept like a log, funny expression that isn’t it? I mean, have you ever seen a sleeping log? If so, did it snore?

Sorry, I’m barking mad. Haha haha. OK, let’s branch out a little and talk about how I feel about my evening?

I can’t ever remember the last time I slept the way I did last night.  I think when I was in the US in the Smokey Mountains possibly? But last night? Oh my goodness. And the dream I had? It was absolutely the most bizarre dream I have ever encountered. And believe me; I never have had anything other than weird dreams.

And before you ask? No, I didn’t go picking mushrooms from my garden! If I were to tell you about my dream in full, it would take forever. Also I am sure the men in white coats would be back out for a visit. Really, they should be out to me so many times, it would pay them to buy a house here, either that or just get on with it and lock me up? Haha.

Let’s just say it involved me stealing, yes, stealing, and I never have done such a thing, and never will, but I stole from a designer shop a frying pan. Hahahehhehehehahhahahahh.

OK, Bloggets bear with, not just any frying pan, but this one was made from wood. Yep. Put that on the stove at your peril. Also this pan came flat packed. And without lid. It was the demonstration one from the shop and I was cross that I didn’t pinch the lid. Hahheheheh. What good it would have been? Or should that be wood, have been?

Anyway, I was in hiding and next thing I went for a job interview, with me pan. And it wasn’t for a restaurant, but in a grotty flat apartment block. With a killer dog in the room whilst getting interviewed. The job? Answering telephones. The ending of the dream? I had to choose what tunnel to go down. I went down one and half way, realised it was the wrong one and climbed my way back out and went down another, but when I got to the end of it, there were people there from my past I didn’t like, so climbed back up the tunnel, but that wasn’t easy, as people were passing me going down and I was telling them not to go there, it was awful? The tunnel had vacuums pulling you down. I got out though and then went down the third. Third time lucky? Who knows? I woke up.

Really, that was just half of the dream. I did tell you it was bizarre. And that is all I dare tell? Haha haha.

Just before I went to sleep. I felt very close to spirit. No, not the whisky bottle, but kind of angelic. I have been very spiritual since a little girl and I believe in angels. This is why I’m finding it difficult to understand why my prayers are not being answered right now. But something touched my hand a kind of tiny circular thing. OK I now know most of you will be thinking it’s confirmed. I’m mad. But I always tell you how I feel and this is what happened. You can believe or not if you do, then you also have had experiences like this. If you don’t? You don’t know what you are missing out on. You feel so relaxed. You feel at peace. You almost stop breathing. The world becomes silent. You hear a part of your mind that you don’t hear every day. My brain see’s people. Whoever is trying to get a message to me? Last night, it was my Mum. I have almost forgotten her face. When you can’t see photographs, your memory sadly forgets, but she’s just there. Just on the edge of my mind. When I try through the day to think of her. There is nothing there. I sometimes get very upset as I can’t bring my Mums face to my mind. Last night, she was there, very thinly. That is the only way I can describe her.  It’s kind of like looking through a dirty window. It is I guess kind of ghostly. She was so serious. I couldn’t see her eyes other than her eyelids. I kind of half wish I knew what she was trying to tell me? I’m afraid though at that point to ask. I should, but I’m afraid of the answer. I just know she looked really unhappy. This disturbed me.

I then fell into a gentle trance and slept for over five hours. You all know who know me, that I never sleep more than two hours and two hours is extremely rare.

I woke up feeling so happy. SO pleased and almost tearful. Now what was that all about? Was my Mum fixing me? My stress levels? Was she trying to prepare me for something not too happy? I really hope not. I’m done with not happy.

I just want Hub and I to have a peaceful life without any intervening from the past. Our kids are taking their exams now and I think that is all going well. Hubs work? We shall see. I know he has huge respect for his girls and boys in the office, who have been there since day one of his arrival, which is a year tomorrow. Wow, a year ago? Gosh, a year ago, we didn’t know of our future as far as employment went. Hub just knew he couldn’t continue the life travelling all over the world like he did. So a year tomorrow, he walked into an office with high expectations, and his staff have not let him down and I hope they will become a super team as Hub doesn’t give anything half. He gives all and he has only gold in his head. He can only do this with his teams help and so far, they are totally committed. So now what will happen over the next few weeks there? We shall see.

I’m trying to get him to do a charity fund razing who’s got talent. I think it would be great fun for the staff something to look forward to and something to show off their talents or perhaps not? but they would give people a laugh, right?

Anyway, back to my vision last night. What did it mean? Hmm. Don’t know but may in some days. I always learn after the event.

All I know is I had the most beautiful sleep.  A dose of that each night please Mum? As for the circular thing going on? What was that? It was like a tube with tiny teeth. Gently, then bang. Sleep. Weird. That’s me!!!

Now it’s raining heavy. As though buckets are falling from the sky. Whilst I sit hear listening to the rain, I am thinking about friends from Russia. Well, ex friends. Sadly. I never ever thought they would become my ex friends. I was thinking about them a lot yesterday. It was the first year I haven’t contacted them after the anniversary of the death of their Mum and Grandmother. But the dear Grandmother was on my mind all day. I hope wherever she is now, she is sitting on a log in the forest of heaven next to her clock flowers. You know the ones you blow to see the time? I loved those as a child, well, our dear old Babushka used to like them too.  If only time could stand still for some things? Not all though, I’m glad times have moved on and we can open a new chapter in the book of life.

OK. This is a much to do nothing blog other than try to see into your mind. A part you don’t normally see into. I can visit different parts of my mind, have you ever tried? It’s wonderful. I mean, you can physically touch your hands. Your elbows. So why not your mind? Transport your brain to discover inside your head. Find boxes open them and place in them things you really want to keep for good or bad. Throw out things you don’t want and if that isn’t possible?  Then tick those feelings so that when you start to feel a certain way, you can use a blocking device. Know where to get the blocking devices from. I believe you can switch on and off parts of your brain. OK. Cheeky Bloggets, no comments please? Haha.

Spiritual.

Even that word gives me calm. Relating to supernatural beings. First known use of the word, was in the 14th century. Having a profound level of mental and emotional deep feeling!

One of the great gifts of spiritual knowledge, is that it realigns your sense yourself of something that you may not have. Well, not have felt before or even tried to feel. When you allow this, you will feel some kind of bliss.

You’re greater than you have ever even imagined yourself to be. A superior divine light exists deep within you. Shine that light, as that same light is in everyone you know now and in the future. Have you ever met someone for the first time that you are sure you have met before?

Notice that spirit sounds similar like inspire and expire? This is as especially appropriate because when you are filled with spiritual energy, you feel great inspiration. When the spiritual life force leaves your body,         your time on this earth expires and these are two of the main themes of this journey.

To allow spiritual feelings enter your busy life, you will feel a sense of love, pride, trust, excitement, wisdom and pure joy.

I don’t get this every day sadly, I would say about twice or thrice per year.  I guess if I tried harder, I may be able to get these feelings more oftern? Though somehow I doubt it. My mind rarely stops still long enough to have such deep feelings.

Spirituality connects you with the profoundly and powerful divine     force that’s present in this universe.

Your spiritual home? A place you feel a belonging. Have you ever been anywhere where you have a sense of Déjà vu? Whether it is looking around a new house to buy, or just simply browsing the shops in a new town or a holiday? But shortly within a second, you dismiss this feeling. Why? Because we don’t understand this new feeling and we perhaps are afraid of the feeling which is new to us. Why not explore that emotion?

Spirituality goes far beyond the physical aspect of your everyday feelings. Look deeply within yourself.

The external world, is ephemeral ever changing, in fact, your body will die one day, sweeping all those accoutrements  away like a pile of dust but your inner realm, in my opinion, is timeless, eternal and deeply profound.

I love the feeling I have when I feel a kind of angelic intervention. It’s warm. Safe, loving and full of protection. Just stop what you are doing, if it’s safe to do that of course, and listen to the sound of your mind. Go inside your head. Relax. Take time out each day and eventually, you will visit a place in your head where you feel absolute calmness.

And then we face reality. A teen is up and about now, so I shall go and be far from spirituality, smile. Later gators. X

THANK YOU PRINCESS CHARLOTTE

I think it’s so lovely the news about the new baby Princess. All our traditions have been happening in London. Hyde Park today had a military band playing “Isn’t she lovely” Then 42 gun shots too. Now why gun shots? Not sure. Also West minster Abbey rang the bells a peel of bells called “The Cambridge Royal surprise. Just wonderful traditions. The baby as I said in my last blog, is called Charlotte and that name in French, is Charles. So after Prince Charles? The Father of William and grandfather of the baby? Apparently not, the young couple said it was because they liked the name. Hmmm. Not sure about that? Then Elizabeth after our Queen and Dianna after Princess Dianna Williams Mother.

I only wished so much that Di could be here to see and hold her little Grand baby. More so, look at her wonderful Sons and be proud. They are fantastic young men. Work hard and are so kind and caring. Do so much for charity too.

I feel some kind of pride myself since this baby has come along. When Prince George was born, the first baby to William and Kate, I didn’t have this sense of pride, but for some reason, I feel blessed this week for the birth of our possible future queen, though queen Charlotte? Just doesn’t sound right, what do you think?

Not long now before our election in the UK. So who will be our next PM?  The currant PM? I really believe he will get in again and once again have a shared leadership. But this time with the dangerous man    Nigel Farage.  The leader of the UK independence party. (UKIP)

Where I live are all Conservative supporters. Me? Hmm. I’m not really, though I do like some of his policies. Though if I were to vote for them, my parents would haunt me. Hahaha.  Who am I going to vote for? Really no idea. They are all awful. Well, not UKIP that’s for sure. He is Hitler reincarnated.

Boy wonder has returned from his wherever. Fed and bed. Don’t know where he has been; think I know who with so not at all interested in what he has been doing. Can’t stand it. She is pure poison for him. Evil and no way good enough for him. But his choice. So he has to live with it. I’m sure when she learns that he may not be a millionaire, she may change her mind towards wanting to marry him. Let’s hope so for his sake.

So with my house being complete again. A full house. Just our girls missing, but I know they are OK. So all OK here.

Not long now before my mad much loved Aunt will be visiting, as it’s her birthday next month. It’s our friends birthday in a couple of weeks too so must sort out their gifts and cards also arrange paying them a visit. Doubt teen will be coming with us, so Hub and I shall go on the train to see them.

Hub in a meeting tomorrow. Then work as normal. I have some work this week too and I hope to see my friend this week for coffee. I also hope our gardener will turn up. And I have an eye pain free week as last week was pretty bad.

At the weekend, Hub and I will attempt our town again. Will I take Wagga? I may try. I’m going to pay a visit to the hair dressers, so I could go there whilst Hub does the rest of the town with our wonder dog LC. I have never taken Waggs to the hairdressers before, how will she behave? Hmm. It’s a posh place so I hope she will lay still? I must say, I love to go, but the stress of the Waggatail, may knock that pleasure off. If my hair cut drops on her, rather than a Waggs, will she be a wigs?

So it may come down to Michael Cane. Haha

Puppy walkers who get our dogs before us, it would be great if you could do things like hair dressers. You would have to keep the dog with you at all times though, never leave it tied up somewhere, as anyone could take it.

It’s amazing how many people you know who are puppy walkers, I have met and they are surprised that we go to the theatre and cinema. When their reaction is as it is, I ask them to take the puppies places like that, as we are blind or partially sighted, but we have minds like them and like to do things that they do. Even things they may not like to do, if they could consider all walks of life? Like train travel, please, as when I first took my Wagga on a train, oh it was a nightmare. Hub had to pick her up and carry her on. She is fine now, but at the time? I mean, he can’t see so should look after himself. But no way was Waggs getting on that train. I’m not even sure she did much bus travel, and if you think about it, VIP’s can’t drive, so busses are the best option. Of course taxies are important to, and we have the dogs in the front with us. So the boot isn’t really going to benefit us.

Markets? A great place to take dogs. OK, I personally don’t do them, though I would love to, but I’m not brave enough though I do have a friend who does markets, and he is totally blind. Now then we don’t want our dogs to jump up at the stalls, so a great lesson for pups. Possibly sitting waiting in the swimming baths? I mean, I had to do that when my Son was little. So not to have the dogs freak out, or more so, not to want to take a dive? That would be rather helpful.

We are blessed that we have puppy walkers. They are great people too. They love the dogs. I used to think that they were hard people, I mean, how could they have a dog for a year, and then give them up? Well, I’m kind of pleased to say, since I have met some puppy walkers, they break their hearts when they have to pass them on to the next stage of training, but without their help, we couldn’t have the independence we have.  So though it’s so sad when they are upset, I really feel for them, I just hope they know their dogs are so loved. And so very much needed.

Anyone who can volunteer for guide dogs, in my opinion, is a hero. The charity is what it is, a charity. They get nothing from the Government. The staff are all brilliant, well, most of them, I have come across a few lazy ones but the majority are in it to make a difference to lives. Then there are the volunteers. They are so vital to make this all come together for us.

To all of those people who are reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you from the lady who only gets out once per week to her local woman’s institute. For the man who gets out on a Sunday to church. His only way of being able to have any contact with members of public in his week. For the young Mums who without the help of their dogs, couldn’t take their children to school. I was that Mum at one time.

Our kids suffer in many ways. They get teased at school about having blind parents. The teachers really treat the kids differently I’m sure of this. We as parents get treat differently to other parents, because of our lack of sight. So just to be able to give our children some kind of normality by being there at the school gates, waiting for them at the end of their day, helps them too. To attend school plays and assemblies. You know, be a parent!

The man going on the train to work to earn for his family. The young student at college or University? My Husband went to a huge university, and without the help from his first guide dog, no way would he be able to have done that. The campus was enormous. Our dogs are like your legs. Almost like your eyes. They work for us and we in return, love them. Praise them and with the help of guide dogs staff and volunteers, the dogs have a very healthy life. Our dogs make this possible. The volunteers make our dogs possible. And kind donations, allow it all to happen.

If people knew how much money guide dogs pay per year on food alone? Not to mention vet bills? And that is before any training. They say its £50,000 in a dog’s life time. Well, where does that money come from?

Answer, kindness.

OK. I will say night night for now, when it’s your turn to sleep, have a good one. Be lucky if you are safe in your bed. There are so many who are not.

With love until tomorrow. X

DIARY OF THE PRINCESS AND THE SNAIL

How was your weekend? Ours? As ever. Today we have had the seasons. It was freezing this morning. Pouring with rain this afternoon and boiling and sunny now. I will write this in two parts as I am going out later. We are off to a BBq but we are not eating.

Very kindly the young lass across the avenue of all sorts asked us if we needed anything at the shops. But we declined as it’s too difficult and embarrassing to prepare it in front of all the neighbours. They get up and down all night and put whatever on the heat, but how can we?

There will be about twenty people there tables, gazeboes, wood burners for heat, the BBQ’s  and chairs all over the place and Hub and I just can’t get it in our heads the lay out of it all.

Part two

Well, that was before the BBQ and now the day after.

We went out after our friend sent us a text asking us to go over, as at first we weren’t sure if we should go the rain was pouring from time to time, and it wasn’t warm at all. Anyway, we were like the teen and went out at about ten or just before. It was a great atmosphere. And as funny as we were being introduced to the new neighbours….  Another neighbour said Mel was knocking on our door wondering where we were?  Well, as we were there, Marie shouted over to Mel. Marie even whistles. Haha haha. Mel took no notice kept ringing the bell. Then the penny clicked. She couldn’t hear us.

Then Mel realised, bless her. And came running over to greet us. I asked her how she managed to miss us standing there? I suggested she got a guide dog. Hahahaha. Bless Mel, she can’t hear without her hearing aid so she took them out as in the rain they go funny. I told her we were like the movie “See no evil hear no evil. Has to be one of the best films I have watched. But you need audio if you are a VIP or at least a sighted person telling you the parts you would miss if you couldn’t see.

Everyone was so happy and we were made to feel so welcome. I can’t believe our luck to land in such a friendly street. Sadly the transvestite didn’t come over he she is keeping themselves to themselves. Shame really as they would be made to feel welcome. The rain started to come down again. Only the Brits could have a party in the rain. The fires were burning with the wood from the extension of our neighbours. Don’t ask?  And the smell was lovely. Drinks were getting poured and people were merry. We did laugh. And our friend Di walked us back after a lovely evening. We sat under the gazebo music played and people danced.

Today? Bank Holiday in the UK.  It’s been sunny. In fact I’m burned as Hub and I have been most of the day in the garden. Trying to sort it out. Oh goodness. There he was on the ladders. I almost knocked him off, hahahahaha. Well, I didn’t know he was there, he was so quiet and I went forward like a bull in a china shop and if I had knocked him, he would have bene really hurt but luckily the ladders took the brunt of it all.

We filled the green bin up with the nasty thorns from next door. Well, we only know where they are by feeling for them and they were about an inch long some longer.

Really thick thorns too.  Not pleasant. So bless him, he is cut to bits now.

I hosed the garden and pulled some weeds out of the patio. Also sorted out some pots and washed under them as they were gross. Full of dirt and mud as not been moved since the last gardener didn’t move them.  The weeds we removed also haven’t been touched since the last useless gardener didn’t do that either. So our rain forest became a little tidier. Our lovely fence is thorn free and things are cut back. Now if the gardener bothers to come this week? Well, hopefully he will be able to get the work done in the two hours he promised. Otherwise I will be so fed up as what we are paying is extortionate. But I hope if, he comes, our garden will be beautiful again. I pray he comes this week? As now it’s been five weeks since he said he would come. Last week he phoned me up to say he wasn’t coming but he would try, yes try, to come this Wednesday or Thursday. He kept saying it’s a small job and he just would fit us in when he could. Well, if it’s a small job, why doesn’t he blooming come and do it?

Anyway, we have done a good job. As good as we can for two people who can’t blooming see and I kept losing my gardening equipment. Hehahahae Really, I put it down to do something and couldn’t find it so spend most of my time looking for it.

Not sure where teen is. He left yesterday to supposedly go to ITS house. Did he go there? Hmm. Doubt it. No contact since last night, but he is to return home tonight. Illegibly.

Hub made dinner and a dessert. It was lovely. I took Waggatail out before to the shop whilst Hub prepared dinner. She didn’t want to work I’m not sure why, couldn’t work her out other than Hub was playing with them and their toys before I went out and perhaps Waggatail wanted to stay? Well, she and I went off on our way, she wanted to go to the park, but I had to correct her and get her back on track. Little monkey. She was great, weaving in and out of obstacles. It was a pleasant walk. The smell of freshly cut wood and greenery. BBQ’s and sun on soil filled the air along with old raindrops from the spring flowers and newely budded shrubs.

The evil road was as hellish as ever. I really put my trust in my girl when we are going that way. She didn’t seem happy though. A snail passed us we were walking that slowly. I had to keep saying to her as I tugged on her leash. “Hop hop!” She sped up for a few seconds then couldn’t be bothered again. As we went around the shop, she was OK and just OK. And on the way back, she was hesitant. But, she got me back in one piece. And I really enjoyed the walk though challenging with her today.

In all, I’ve had a lovely day and last night was great. Hub is off to a beer festival in a few weeks with the lads and I hope to organise a spooky cookie night with the girls as I asked Di to have a look around to see if there is anyone we can visit to read our fortunes. As long as the ghosties don’t come here?

House all cleaned Hub in gym and now going to put the kettle on and put my feet up to enjoy TV  and chill before seeing what tomorrow brings us all.

In the meanwhile, my message to you all is push yourself to do something you don’t want to and you will be so surprised of the outcome.

PS. Our little new born Princess has a name. Charlotte Elizabeth Dianna. A bit of a mouthful. But if the baby gets Charlie, I guess that’s after Prince Charles? Elizabeth after our queen and of course Dianna after Princess Di. Who would have been a very proud Grandmother if she were allowed to live? Good luck to our Royals. The young ones are wonderful people. X

DIARY OF THE ROYAL BABY

Here in our conservatory with sun beaming in through the windows which I can tell you are firmly closed, as the sun has his cheeky deceiving hat on today and it’s not really hot out there.

Hub listening to the football on the radio and I can tell you, our team are not doing well at all. Three nil so far. Newcastle was some years ago, many I may add, a team to be proud of. But greed has got between the players and owner.

Teen at work. Saw it for twenty minutes today and wow, I can tell you he leaves so unhappy when he is about to see it. It’s so sad to see him like that. Just wish prayers would work so that he could get a life.

I hope he gets his bike back from work today? They still have it after the charity ride last week.  Why? Long story.

He is doing really well in college. He got two distinctions this week.

If he keeps on track, he will have one a. And two B’s.

Not bad considering he has a Tutor who speaks really poor English and when the students ask for help, she tells them to look it up in Google!!!

I hope to walk the dogs later. But where? Not sure. Well, if we get lost, that will be exciting right?

Just wish we had someone who could take us to the beach or forests and free run them with us.

Hub worked from home yesterday and was in his office all day. I think he is having an interesting time there. He doesn’t’ talk about it as everything, he is professional about it.

My poor little girl has sore ears. They are really thick at the ends. Do you Bloggets know what it could mean? We have asked the vet, but they are useless.

Oh guess what my weekend treat is? We are having a take away tonight. Yummy blooming yummy. I’m so lucky that my Hub isn’t a Meany who won’t pay for such luxuries. I mean, it is a luxury for us as its so deer now to have a take away. Over £30 for the three of us.

Oh my friend has just had to have the camera down her throat to see what her problems are. She is a real lady. So dignified. Well, there she was on a ward waiting for the dreaded picture to be taken and she was told that whatever they had givenit would make her full of wind and she would have to get rid of it. Hahaha. Well, that’s all and well, but our NHS hospitals don’t allow you to have a room of your own for such small tests, so she was with another five windy ladies.

I asked her if she did what the Doctor told her to do. She surprised me by saying she did. I can’t imagine her doing this?  I mean, one lady plays the trumpet, and what does she say? Then another? Then the silence and another then my friend. Hehehe. Gosh, it would be like a blooming brass band in there.

So the big news in the UK today is our Prince William is a Daddy to baby number two.

His wife the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate gave birth to an 8lbs 3oz baby girl.

The little girl will be forth in line to the throne and will be known as Her Roil highness Princess??? Of Cambridge.

No name so far.

As good old English tradition, dictates, an easel was placed in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace to announce the news.

A town crier made the announcement this morning on the steps of the private wing of the hospital where baby was born.

Our PM, this morning, was one of the first to write on Twitter, congratulations. I’m sure William and Kate were just waiting with their IWatch to pick that one up? What do you think?

I like Kate, as she is as lovely as she wears a lot of high street clothes. Apparently dots are in...

Braille?

I love our Royall family. Well, when they are not hunting and bumping off beautiful ladies. Or, was that another organisation like my Husband thinks, let’s just say terrorists?

Anyway, a lovely day for our young Royals.

HOW YOU CAN FEEL BETTER

Good day. Looking at our Bloggets who have joined us today, the first ten that have visited are Greece, UK, Austria, US, India, China, Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Australia and Germany.

So, are you all smiling today? Well its national smile month. here are some fun facts for you all.

  1. It takes 43 muscles to frown, but only 17, to smile.
  2. Earrings, business cards, keys, letters, money, and tools are just some of the things we put in our mouths daily. Apparently. Not me that’s for sure. But I know of people who do this and the worst thing is when Pizza delivery people put your note in their mouth whilst they give you change? Hehehe. One thing I have always wondered, are you lazy if you use an electric toothbrush?

A smile is one of the most emotive and powerful things we can do.  Smiling shows confidence and has been proven to have a positive effect on our relationships, careers, and overall image. It’s so simple, an yet so many of us don’t do it?

When you smile, the world smiles back at you. Unless of course you can’t see them on the other side of the road? Well, that is when if you know someone can’t see, call their name, say who you are and they the person who can’t see will hear in your voice that you are smiling. And what a difference that will make to their day, believe me.

Smiling is a natural response. When you are there when a friend does or says something silly or embarrassing, you smirk. When a Policeman lets you off without a ticket, you grin. When your boss recognises you for your top performance, or when you are praised for your academics     you beam.

Smiling should be the most natural thing you can do without any effort. But, did you know that smiling triggers something off in your brain?  There’s a serious mind-body connection there in your left frontal cortex, no, not your corset, hahaha. That is to make something else look good.

How many times per day do you smile?

When you meet new people? When you see a friend?   How about when you see your significant other half? You don’t smile? Oops. Haha.

Your face they say can make five thousand different expressions. Really? Hang on a mo Jo until I count mine. Make a coffee and come back after I’ve removed my shoes to count. Oh no, don’t have coffee, that will affect your white teeth. A cool glass of water, oh, and whilst you are there, give your teeth a brush? Hehehehehe.

Right, I got to about nine expressions, but the experts, say five thousand. So obviously, I need to get my facial muscles moving more, discovering how many I can do in one day, right? Do you think I will get some funny looks?

Smiling can make you happy, even when you’re not. Smiling is contagious well, Lewis Armstrong thought so.

Why are we asked to smile for photos? It’s said that we look better when we smile. Oh when I was a model, I was forever asked to smile and when I was in the press the same. But I hated my teeth as I have a gap at the front that a horse could trot through.. But that’s another tail…….

Your heart rate will slow down when you smile as even if you are not happy, your body tells yourself you are and anxiety will decrease. Now must try that one.

Smiling can lead to laughter. Have you ever laughed without smiling? Impossible, right?

Optimism and the power of positive thinking. Hmm. I must say I envy those who can do this. Optimism comes from the Latin word Optimus meaning best.  This describes how an optimist is always looking for the best in any situation.  Apparently a positive outlook on life strengthens the immune system.    Change your thoughts and change your life. So many people say to me that I’m so happy in life, really? I personally see myself as a pessimist. For years I blamed the bad things that happened to me in life, on myself!

I want to think differently. And only I have the power now to do that. As do you.    Be ready when opportunity knocks. I love that. I totally agree with that. Do you?

I always tell people to do something different in their lives once a week. It could be the smallest thing. Write it down and keep looking back at your journals. I promise you it will do you the world of good and you don’t have to leave your house to do this.

So, smile. X
